Thanks guys!Panfork wrote:I'll take care of Minnesota. I don't know their prospects quite as well as Rangers/Ducks/Avs but I know a little bit about them. I took a while doing the Ducks last time, but I'll have Minnesota to you by tomorrow night, promise.

Who exactly are you having trouble finding information on? I don't have time to do a full report on any of these teams(I don't even have time to write up articles for my own site as of now). But I follow prospects about as much as the NHL, so if there is any first hand info I can give you I'd be glad to.bruins72 wrote:Ugh! The talent analysis for the Coyotes prospects on HF is pretty sparse! I'm doing the best I can with it but... yuck!

It's not really specific players, it's more the depth of the analysis of the players. I did the research for the Bruins prospects and I had a few other resources that really went into great detail when reporting on the players' abilities.umwoz wrote:Who exactly are you having trouble finding information on? Try to watch a few San Antonio games. The next best thing is youtube clips. Also take a look at local Newspapers to San Antonio, their websites should have a fair bunch of articles following games with decent analysis.
For non AHL prospects(well I suppose it would work for them too), take a look at reports that were around when they were drafted. Even mock drafts from their draft year are likely kicking around. You may have to reach around a bit to find stuff but it's out there. Also you may have luck looking at write ups from old WJC, even U18s.
Sometimes the hockey news has decent bios on their site aswell.

I wish I had that kind of time. If you've got the time and inclination to do that, please feel free to lend a hand with the research. Manimal still needs help with Calgary and Florida prospects.
Here is the difference between what the talent analysis looks like on HF and one of the sources I found for researching the Bruins prospects. The guy that I found that did Bruins analysis did a write-up on Brandon Gormley before last year's draft because there was the potential for the Bruins to pick him with their pick before they traded it to Florida.
Anyhow, check out the two...

Perhaps we should start listing any good scouting sites we find?
Obviously there's http://www.hockeysfuture.com/.
You need to look at the team articles along with the player's pages.
I also use http://www.forecaster.ca/thestar/hockey/index.cgi
It gives small descriptions of most pro players strengths and weaknesses which I find useful.
I also have a subscription to the hockey news. Their draft preview and future watch are usually pretty useful.

I've got Florida. When I finish Florida, I'll probably take the Isles as well.Manimal wrote:Calgary, Florida and the Islanders still needs to be done...

Florida Panthers prospect research has been mailed in. I'll start immediately on the Islanders, and you should have them within the next few days, before I don't have access to a computer anymore starting Monday.

No problem & Thanks, anything to help you guys out with this.Manimal wrote:Thanks a lot! I know I get good research from you!Panfork wrote: I've got Florida. When I finish Florida, I'll probably take the Isles as well.

Islanders are in too. I sent this one to your hotmail, because you took down your Yahoo from your profile and I didn't want to send you the research to an inactive email address 1 hour before I'm gonna be gone for a few weeks.
Good luck with the rest of the Database, if you still need help with something in 2 weeks I can see what I can do with it.

Are the Leafs roster and prospects getting an update for 3.1?
I believe they were part of the 3.0 version. Not much has been changed regarding NHL players(other than trades and such)

Guys like Reimer, Grabovski, Kulemin, MacArthur, Aulie, Brent, Boyce and the others should probably have their stats boosted.Dylbot wrote:Are the Leafs roster and prospects getting an update for 3.1?

This pretty much covers all the teams, once VisualDarkness learns how to use his e-mail
