Anyone ever figure out a way to manage your AHL affiliate staff? I have someone in mind that could be a head coach down there but not sure how to accomplish this

We all usually add a GM to the AHL affiliate and then hire staff as normal. Once you're all set just go on vacation. :)

Thanks for the heads up!

Another question - I've noticed my AHL team sucks, but has quite a few decent prospects. I also noticed that the team barely had enough players to fill 3 lines. Is this a problem? Are they related?

Well if you add a GM to your AHL affiliate you'll be able to control who plays and whether or not they can field a full team.

What I often do is use my NHL club to just hire a few scrubs for a year to make sure they have full lines. I mean, I say "scrubs", but what I really do is go through the UFA list with a fine-toothed comb for 20-23 year old players who show a small amount of promise. That at least allows the team to dress a full proper squad, and hopefully allows the team to win a few more games. IMO, prospects should develop a bit better when the team is winning.

But ya, if you really want to solidify everything, add another GM to the game and take control of your AHL squad.
