I vote for both relegation and keeper systems are ok now. But I wouldn't mind increasing keepers.

I like promotion/relegation system but even in our league there are some GMs that even show up anymore. I wonder if in Octavian all GMs are active?

I would like the increase of Keepers for next season. One thing bothers me is the Goalies minutes played (thats awful!). I would like goals against per game or number of goals against, you actually would need to have good goalies on your roster.

Increasing keepers without notice is kind of a bad idea. Trades were made because of keeper situations. Now...if we add keepers we definitely need to make sure that it is "F" keepers not "W" and "C" keepers. Because some of the double position stuff disappearing on the stupid site of ESPN is ridiculous. For example, how much C does Marleau really play yet they still list him as primarily a C. Anyway...should be "F" keepers because of this kind of issue if you are adding. All should move to Forward from specific positions. Still cannot have more than 5 at a position on the forward line...but should just make F

Any big rule changes, like an increase in keepers, won't take effect until the upcoming season. This season will definitely play-out under current rules, and we'll start next season with our current keepers. Any keeper increase would begin with the 2011-12 off-season.

Ok so i now have 3 legit goalie keepers that i believe i have. Either Hiller, Howard or Lehtonen is available...

(I'm also aware we can't trade yet, just a heads up for the future)

OK this press release is barring a miracle (Well actually a Steve Ott snap job in the last 4 minutes vs Anaheim would make this my game...but I don't think so.

So...

After watching his team amass another massive amount of victories during the regular season of 2010-11 to give the Burnaby Black ICE a most astounding 2 year regular season record of 38-6, which has included win streaks of 13 games, 10 games and 9 games...the team has come to yet another crashing hault in the playoffs. Last season the clearly dominant Black ICE lost in the final to the Marsac Newbies, and this season to the upstart (and recently moved Sloppy Slippers)

The ICE really want to congratulate the Sloppy Slippers on a great season, and a great job on the waiver wire and trade market. They are clearly a rising force in the MINSTREL HOCKEY LEAGUE.

Well done Slippers.

However....although the Slippers have done a great job,... the reason for their victory is more apparent in the Black ICE dressing room than it is in the Slipper closet. The ICe have very clearly amassed a roster of players who have no fricking clue what to do in the playoffs.

The ICe at various times have had amazing superstar players under contract over the 2 years. Patrick Marleau , Roberto Luongo,, Jerome Iginla, Jeff Carter, Lubomir Visnovsky, Nichlas Lidstrom, Brian Boyle, Ryan Callahan, Brent Seabrook,Mike Ribeiro, Brendan Morrow, Stephane Robidas,Steve Ott, Mike RIbeiro, David Krecji, Jonathon Quick, Michael Neuvirth, and various other NHL super regular season stars have amassed zillions of points,PIMS, wins, minutes, saves and shots for the ICe and have not got the job done come the time that matters.

You will notice that several of these players come from classic underachieving cities such as Vancouver, San Jose, Ottawa, Washington, New York, Boston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Columbus and Philadelphia. So....the ICE owner, mr batdiddliedoodahday has decided enough is enough.

The first step is to hire his new General Manager Mr Alan Iverson. Alan will take over duties of managing the daily roster of the squad. This move came immediately after Batdidddlydoodahday got so ticked off at his entire team he dropped a good player and picked up another Ottawa Senator by the name of Michalek. Good god...have we not been here before? Several times. Why don't you go out and get Foligno too you moron. This was the conversation batdiddlydoodahday had in his own bloody head...as he reported to himself.

So...welcome aboard Mr iverson. First item up for bids..the team needs a new location. Our fans in Burnaby are sick of losing. So where do you want to go?

Hmm....Alan decides that it is time to move a Minstrel league team that has achieved so much, yet done so little and always forgets to show up for practices and playoffs.(..I mean who likes words that begin with the letter P...penis, princess, potato, peanut butter..pajama, puss.....oh yeah.....) to the nether regions of a far off galaxy known as the Failure Constellation. The capital city of this lovely loser villa galaxy would be none other than

SANCOUVER!!! Yay! Sancouver...way to fail! Go Sancouver.

So...what should the nickname be...well it should be the Thrasher Leafs...but those guys never even show up for the first 2000 games. So what is the point.

So..Alan decided the new name would be the :Senitals. Yes a beautiful name and I can look at them when I look down at my waist!! Oh wait..this team has none of those! Perfect.

Welcome to Sancouver. If you come here in the first 20 games you lose. But you better hope you get here in the playoffs!

Let's go Thrashers! The final is stupidly tight, 5-4-3 as of right now. I can't believe I missed the fact that Theodore was available this morning and picked up Mason instead, the cup might come down to that single mistake. Regardless of how the night ends I believe this will be my final season, I haven't had the time I'd like for fantasy hockey and I hate doing things half-assed.

Congrats to the Slippers. Marsac--Sorry we will be losing you. But that may not be all we lose. I am rapidly running out of time myself, and will be evaluating whether I am returning next season over the spring and summer. It has been a blast, save for my hopeless playoff performances.

Congrats to the Slippy-Doos.

So did I just manage to avoid relegation by finishing in 10th?

I guess you managed it, Catchup. But I didn't ](*,) The last matchup vs. Västerås Vikings was 5-5-2 and the tie braker (goals) 15-10. Congrats, Lidas for saving you in the MHL. And of course to visualdarkness. It was really fun the whole year  (when I had time to set my lines :-D ). Thank you, Brian.
