Player Development in EHM 2007

Post by Animal31 »

Ive done some testing

9 players, I tried all combinations of 1, 100, or 200 CA, and all attributes being 1, 10, or 20
I turns out All Athletics except ballance, and all mental except Anticipation and Creativity are static, and dont change based on CA, Balance, Anticipation, Creativity, and all technical are based on CA and attributes

But the question is, how does a player develop? Do their static attributes ever change as they get older and better? Does their CA go up, or does their Attribute values? Etc?

Just to ask cause I am not sure...what are the athletic attributes you refer to? The physical ones? Because they change in development...through practice and play time...all the skating ones change. Mental attributes change as well...not all ..I believe influence changes as well in some cases.

CA increases with the right kind of practice to develop the player as well as play time. You need to go read the practice threads, and tmaybe the forums...there is stuff about this all over the place.

Here's a link to the thread "Calculating CA" that should answer some of your questions...

Yep...all of the physical attributes increase...and they increase differently (and decrease btw) depending on

1. practice schedule and player mentals
2. ice time, player mentals and game play
3. age

So...not sure how your test was the way it was...the physical attributes always change through type of developement. None of them are static.
