New facepack for 2011-2012

Post by AP21 »

I have just finished resizing all player pictures from ESPN's website. I have 980 .png files, size 157 x 200. Could I upload them?

Hey AP21. Welcome back to TBL! :)

You can either upload them by starting a new thread directly in this forum or if the pack is more than 1 or 2mb then just email it to me (archibalduk AT gmail DOT com) and I'll get it online on our SkyDrive account.

I just sent them to your gmail address. The file is about 41 MB, so I divided it into two parts.

Click on Archi's link, then arrange the list according to date when the file was edited. It should come on the top.

Find the folder where you have EHM installed and then navigate to here: NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\pictures\players. The player pics go directly into the aforementioned players folder.

P.s. Welcome to TBL!

Try this: Find one of the pictures for a player you know and take a look at what date of birth he has (the date of birth is included in the filename). Then look in game and see what date of birth he has there.

You'll most likely see that the year of his birth is different (probably by four or five years). This is because each year Manimal has had to increase the players' years of birth so that they appear with their real life age in game (because the start season is hardcoded/locked to 2006/07). With the next version of the rosters this won't be a problem because we now have the CSD Patch which changes the in game start season.

This tool allows you to adjust the year of birth in each image's filename so that they match the in game years. However, keep in mind that when the next roster update comes out you'll need to change them back (the tool lets you easily do this) because, as I said, the rosters will work with the CSD Patch.
