I am the Toronto Maple Leafs and I offered Kippy a 1 year 10 mil deal and when he signed, his salary was 50K , I reproduced this with Brooks Oprik for testing purposes, 10 Mil a year for 3 seasons and he gets 50K now?
Has anyone encountered this? is it only 10 mil this bug happens?
i think you can give up to 9.5M. Although, i have many times gotton away with 10.5M for multiple years without it going to 50k. The worst part is that other star players from other teams sometimes get paid 50k, which give them a huge advantage

Was just looking up Shea Weber who is on a different team than mine. I noticed that in the 2014-15 season he made 10.13 million and then signed a 2 year 99,500/total contract worth deal. Is this some kind of bug or something as I don't think I have ever noticed it? How would they be able to sign a player for well under the salary cap minimum?
