Changing Startup Date

Is there anyway to change the startup date from Sept 1 2005 to Sept 1 2006? Once the NHL draft is done, I wanna take the guys drafted and place their rights with the teams that drafted them, and start a season for the 2006/07 season.

Or is somebody planning on working on this as an addon?

I don't think you can change the date as it's something that's hard coded into the game. You'll have to wait until september for EHM 2007:thup:

Technically, you could add yourself as GM of a minor club and resign without retiring and set yourself to come back from vacation in July and let the game sim until then overnight or something :-D

But no, there is no "set date forward a year" option.
