Need help with Alessandro's League Patch...

Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question, or has been dealt with before (i did a search, and couldn't find anything), but i'd like a bit of help applying the League Patch... So here's where i'm up to at the moment using the step-by step guide provided in the readme. I've done everything in green, I don't understand or don't know how to do the bits in red, and haven't done the bits in black yet...

Step 1
Download Art Money from here: http://www.artmoney.ru/e_download.htm (Free version, of course) and install it. DONE
Step 2
Launch Art Money, ignore the ad then go to Search > Options, then select Save/Load values in file-table. Close Art Money. DONE
Step 3
Take a backup of your ehm2007.exe original file. Unzip the downloaded patch: the ehm2007.exe file should go in the main EHM 2007 installation folder, the .amt file can go anywhere, however, it would be better to unzip it within the Table folder of the Art Money directory. MINE'S STILL IN THE UNZIPPED FOLDER FOR THE MOMENT, AS IT 'CAN GO ANYWHERE'.
Step 4
In order to make the game work if we're going to select the Austrian league, we need to add 2 teams with the Pre Game Editor. You can add any team you wish, but you must always have a correct number of teams in other leagues in order to avoid crashes. - I ALSO HAVE THE PRE-GAME DEITOR AND HAVE FOUND THE AUSTRIAN LEAGUE (ERSTE BANK LIGA) IN MANIMAL 4.2b, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ADD/MOVE TEAMS AROUND DIFFERENT LEAGUES... CAN YOU TELL ME HOW PLEASE?
Step 5
Launch EHM and wait until you'll get to the main screen, where you can choose load saved game, start a new game, etc. "No problem."
Step 6
Launch Art Money, select the EHM process from the process bar on the top of the screen under the menu bar. Click on Load on the bottom of the page and open the file Superpatch2.amt "Sounds easy enough..."
Step 7
Control that your table was loaded correctly. In order to do so, the latest entries should have a 9999 value. If 2008 appears, reload the patch until you see 9999 (one attempt should be enough). "Understood."
Step 8
Optional: Use at this point only the CSD patch in order to change the game starting data. Select a year then click "Apply patch only" and wait for the little program to close. "Can Do..."
Step 9
Create a new game with your desired selected leagues (If you didn't add teams to Austria, remember NOT to select Austria) "right..."
Step 10
Control that the game was created correctly. Austrian league should have about 16-17 games played (it's a known issue) with a North American start date. If the Austrian league has 0 games, it will crash on June 30th, and you should redo the process (this happened to me only once in about 30 tests) "Okey dokey... I can check things..."

A further note on step 4: I found the austrian league in the DB yesterday, before I had downloaded the patch or done anything with ArtMoney, so the game will have expected it to have 8 teams. does that make a difference> Also, I recognise the pre-game deitor as being very similar (if not identical) to old Championship Manager data editors... and seem to remember that somewhere for each league there was a list of teams playing in that league at the start of the game. I have a feeling that that's where I would have to be to add teams to the austrian league... but for the life of me I can't find it!

QUICK UPDATE:

Ok, so I had trouble with Alessandro's patch (values showing up as <NO> in ArtMoney, which had been seen before but not resolved AFAIK) so I downloaded and applied Archi's 'MemPatch v.0.1' instead. Here's where I stand now:

Looks like the new league import rules and shootout endings to tie games are working as they should... so I think that on the whole it's worked as planned. However...

I was able to load and run the Austrian league without any trouble, but it still only contains 8 teams. I was expecting it to crash due to the league being 2 teams smaller than it should be with the patch... Is this just because I haven't added 2 more with the pre-game editor (and as I've mentioned in my previous post I don't know how to do that right now, can ya help me out?) or is there something more to it?

To add a team to a league you need to go in the 'Clubs' section of the editor.
Choose the team you want(or create a new) and set nation to where it is. 'Division' and 'Other division' needs to be Austrian Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Press confirm, save the editor and close it.
Then you could start a new game
