I am looking to get a EHM a Like game started.

My Name Is Marc-Andre

I am currently into two projects, one of them has nothing to do with Hockey (War-RPG Board Game) but is still going pretty well.

Now for the last couple of weeks i have been making research on making a NHL Game Like EHM but more true to life.

I have contacted the NHL and the NHLPA in regards of product licensing and was told that once the project has reached the testing phase to contact them and i will get an appointment.

As of now the game is only an idea with incredible potential, Thanks to the blue line this might go from an idea to reality.

what i am looking for is this ;

2 or 3 game programmers
7 to 10 Researchers for accurate team rosters, players names, Attributes, Contracts, Profit and Loss of profits by each team (NHL Only) & NHL rules.
4 game designers

For the funding i am still working on this, i am starting a funding campaign on a website and should attract lots of people.
As of now, thousands of projects has reached the 100k$ funding and hundreds has reached the million $ mark for there project.

Please only serious people are needed, this is a big project and should not be taken as a 2 hours a weeks thing. We all have other things to do but if you are enrolling in this, i will ask at least 5-8 hours a weeks working on the project.


The Project is a long term commitment and all of the team need to be able to communicate clearly by email and by Skype & or Messenger every week to say how far along you are with your work.


I am currently working on some idea for the game, and will update every weeks into what ideas i have had. I will need some comments and suggestions on what should and should not be in the game.

Are you aware of the OOTP Project that is currently creating a hockey game to be released in Q4?
Are you aware of the enormous team efforts that produce the current TBL/Manimal roster updates for EHM?
Have you heard of the Dabo Hockey Manager Project?
How about Web Sim Hockey?

I did hear of all of those, i am even a registered GM at Web Sim Hockey.

All of those are great and should continue on ;

Web Sim Hockey = Online only. What if a user wants to play single player on his laptop ?

OOTP Project = AWSOME

The thing is, i want to make my own ideas a reality. I want some new stuff to be added into an NHL sim.

TBL\Manimal Roster for EHM = I use them and greatly appreciate the effort put in it. That does not prevent someone to put his ideas into a new game and try to make the best NHL sim out there. Right, i forgot that competition was that harsh in hockey sims.

This might be a flop or it might be a hit. Only time will tell, anyways the game is FAR AWAY from release. To be precise it has not even went past a little bit of research and plan on paper.

Sorry if this was like a slap in the face to all of the OOTP Project team but i do have the right to make my own games based on my team's ideas, my team's game interface, my team's AI intelligence, My team's 3D Simulation engine.

You absolutely have the right to start you own project (I think Nino was rather trying to highlight that you may struggle to get research volunteers and/or have you considered helping with the Dabo project). Best of luck to you. I am always happy to offer my site as a platform to support those working on new hockey games. So if there's anything TBL can do to help, please feel free to send me a PM or email and we can discuss.

Having said that, I'd highly recommend making contact with Dabo. He has been working on his sim for quite some time and I expect he'd be interested in another user joining the programming team. With people already researching for the Manimal Rosters, OOTP and Dabo's game, you may struggle to find research volunteers. You may be more successful joining forces with Dabo.

I will get in contact with Dabo, if i could implement some of my ideas and maybe even add some things he did not think about as of now it might be well worth it rather then start a completely new project from scratch. I do understand that it will be hard to get some help with his game being built right now.
