Correct, it's the Jets. I'm on season 12-13 (with a 06-07 start date, and a year old DB), and it's my third full season with them.
I feel I've been pretty conservative with trades and UFA's, considering how terrible the roster was when I took over. I've only signed four "big name" UFA's and a few more for depth. Parise, Yakupov and Gardiner were already on the team before I got the job.


This wasn't the first unusual empty netter I scored vs. the Capitals. During the 10-11 season, Andrew Ladd got a goal when the Caps put it in their own empty net during a delayed penalty. No video this time, sorry.

No screenie, but I'm playing a game in the NHL using the latest rosters and Steve Yzerman seems to be collecting centers like Pokemon. He has Stamkos and Lecavalier of course, he also somehow got Tavares (!!!), and now he just traded for Backes (!!!!!!!).

Best part is, he's collecting D too (he also got De Haan and Hamonic from NYI to play with Hedman and Brewer, and Ohlund).... but the team's wingers are a mess/laughable, and the only good one (St. Louis) is injured. So yeah... I'm sure those C's love looking to their sides and seeing Mattias Weinhandl, Frazer McLaren, Branko Radivoijevic, Brian Bickell, etc, on their wings...

I've never seen anything like this. Usually the AI goes the *other* way in caring a little too much about positioning and having enough of everything. In this case, he seems to want to make a forward corps of nothing but C's though.

EXACT same thing actually happens in mine. Tampa has Vinny, Stamkos, Gomez, and Henrik Sedin. Along with the destruction of Vancouver. Traded both Sedins, Burrows, and more.

Here's some pictures of my Flyers. Manimal4.1db and 2012-2013 season. Flyers sucked whole season, first all goalies (Bobrovski/Bryzgalov) had GAA over 3.7 so I traded them away and acquired Cory Schneider and Brian Elliot that weren't good for starter job, but they played better than Russian ones. I was 14th in conference so out of playoffs. Just before trade deadline I acquired Ryan Suter and Jeff Carter also made comeback to Broad Street. Sadly, Carter injured after 4 games which he recorded one assist.

However, I'm having tough team for next season.. just have to live with just ok goalie situation. Rämö had 2 superb seasons in KHL and had save% over 94 so I thought to give him chance as big show started.

Goalies: Karri Rämö, Schneider, Elliot
Defenders: Suter, Timonen, Coburn, Polak, Erik Gustafsson, Nathan Beaulieu (-11 Habs first rounder, last season in QMJHL: 59 games with 31+104=135, +60, also 4 games with Flyers, scoring 1+1 with +5), Duncan Siemens (new addition from Avs, last season in WHL: 61 games with 28+106=134 with +65, won Bill Hunter trophy, Four Broncos Masterton trophy, WHL Star Player award.. has also superb reputation)
Wingers: Hartnell, Van Riemsdyk, Read, Huhtala (last season: 26 NHL-games with 5+8 and +5) and Sestito
Centers: Giroux, Couturier, M. Koivu, Briere, Galchenyuk

Any "unfaked" database will du it, like the Lidas and Manimal ones. The stats are only shown for ex Chairmen.

Yup, Lundqvist played more than 3hours and a half... For the story behind those screenshots, it was the 3rd game of conference quarterfinal against Calgary. Before this game some important players like Kronwall were injured, and believe me that during this one I really thought the list would grow... I finally won the cup against the Montreal Canadiens, despite this tiring game for my players. It was my second season with Detroit, I'm currently playing my 3rd one.

I guess my players deserved a good massage after this one

Not funny or cool but I was recommended to post this here. It falls in the ouch category. I didn't even know 10 months was a possibility. I've been playing this game since it came out and this is the longest I've seen.
