Trying to re-install, license issue

Post by TomBlain »

Hello,

I just had my computer re-imaged and I'm trying to re-install EHM 2007. I ran through the license install, and have my order # saved from way back in 2006, but I'm getting an error saying I "reached my limit". I have a number that "looks" like the license (its four letter/numbers then a dash, then another four letters and dash, and this is repeated like 11-12 teams) but its not working for manual entry.

It seems the game is "dead". I have it running on a really old compueter that i don't even have on the internet but its rather painful.

Any ideas? It sounds like I can't even buy a license anymore.

Thanks! I miss this game dearly....

Did you unlicense the game before you wiped your computer?

EHM only has two licenses that can be installed simultaneously. If you ever uninstall the game, you'll want to first uninstall the license being used so you can use it again when you re-install. It sounds like you've uninstalled the game at least a couple times and left the licenses installed, and now eLicense's servers are seeing them both as "in use".

At this point, you'll want to contact eLicense, and let them know that you had to re-install your hard drive. From what we've heard here at TBL, they've been really good with recovering lost licenses.

As B.Stinson says. Contact eLicense. I had to do that once, and they only needed evidence in one way. In my case they asked for the date and which E-mail address that was used. Since you have your order, it should be easy to get an answer from them in a few days.

Thank you guys. I contacted them a while back after posting on the forum and they were very helpful to get me back up and running so I could resume my EHM addiction. Regards
