NHL/AHL Rosters

Post by MKoivuFan »

I upped the the cap to 70.2 which what it currently was reported in the NHL. I want to play as my favorite NHL teams farm team Houston Aeros, however they keep on sending Backstrom down i guess due to his cap hit. Do i have to go in the editor and give the Minnesota team a higher team budget for them not to send him down?

I think you're right to look at Team Budget, as the Wild's Team Budget is 51.5 million and their starting "Est. Average Club Salary" is 53.455 million...but Backstrom's 6.0 million contract is not a 2-Way contract, so I'm not sure how sending him to the AHL would help (who joins Harding in the nets when they send Backstrom down?)

The Wild do start with to many contracted players and need to release someone, but that shouldn't connect to sending Backstrom to the AHL either
