RSL Rule Confusion?

I don't get why, when playing in the RSL, the game constantly complains about my roster.

I made the RSL a Euro superleague and moved a couple top Finnish and Swedish teams to it, as well as a team each form other countries (Czech, Slovak, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, etc).

The game states that in the RSL you're allowed 3 Foreigners (not of the nationality your team is based in) dressed, and requires a "minimum of 2 Russians 20 y.o. or younger Dressed".

I have 4 foreigners, and have only dressed 3. I tried signing and dressing 2 Russians 20 or under, and the game demanded I let it fix my roster to sim a game. So instead I sent my Russians down, and called up 2 domestic players 20 or under. The game still complains and demands I let it "fix" my roster (which it does by dressing a terrible lineup).

I can't make heads or tails of this. I'm following the league rules. I look at the computer teams around the RSL and none of them seem to even be following the "2 Dressed under 20" rule as most don't even have 2 on their roster they could dress. What am I doing wrong? I'm dressing the right number of total players, and I only have 28 players on my roster. I'm dressing 2 players 20 or under... and yet the game keeps giving me those domestic fake, greyed-out players (I have 3 currently) that are also 20 or under and I cannot make it get rid of them. I don't see what the point is of adding domestic players 20 or under to my roster, or what the game thinks it's accomplishing.

I don't get what fault it's finding with the roster. Can anyone shed some light? This is why I always get infuriated trying to play in the Euro leagues and quit, because it never likes my rosters and the rules never seem to be what they state they are...

Have you designated a captain? In my game with my ECHL farm team I kept getting the message that my lineup was not proper and whether i wanted to coaches to fix it. I was using the proper amount of veterans and could see absolutely nothing wrong with my roster. After a couple of games of letting my assistants fix the roster I happened to go into tactics and noticed I had no captain or assistants designated. I fixed that and the messages went away. I wish for gods sake that they would have had the message tell you what was wrong with your roster... Would save a lot of people a lot of grief!!!!!

You mean don't dress two, so that the the game just uses the two greyed-out fake players? I'd still get the error though, right? That's what I'm trying to eliminate. I don't want to get prompted before every single game.

Just leave two spot empty in the lineup (e.g. play with 6 dmen). You shouldn't get any error.
