[Pre Game Editor] Nation Potential

Post by mchose »

Is there any way in the pre-game editor to change the potential of a nation, say for example: Spain 15 years down the road slowly emerges as a hockey power. It works it's way up through all U-20 divisions, World Championships, and maybe becomes a contender at the Olympics while obviously producing many solid NHL players.

I think it would be cool to be able to do that, maybe even having Canada or Russian falling eventually and producing less talent in later years.

Thanks guys

In addition to changing the nation's reputation (and also importance, if it is not high enough), you'd also need to create some players with good CAs (or improve the CAs of existing players). The player regen system works on the basis of the retiring player's CA. So when a player retires, a new player will be generated with a PA set to the retired player's CA.

I've always thought it was the PA...that the newly generated players PA just replicated the retiree's PA (and so for a variable like -15 the PA would be recalculated/determind with each regen)
