I went to watch our loss to Belfast last night we lost 2-1 allthough I felt we should have won, we showed alot more heart than a few of our previous games this season it was a really scrappy match though. Best moment of it though was when Tyler Michel levelled one of the Belfast players didn't see who it was only for David Phillips of Belfast to leave the bench and have ago he got a game misconduct :-D

Bought myself an early xmas present too

Nice! 8-)

The only British hockey jersey I have is a Manchester Storm one from 2000. That was from the days before teams started placing sponsors all over their jerseys:

The silver stripes at the base of the jersey and on the sleeves is the same reflective material they use on high visibility jackets! :D

Wow, that's a hell of a deal! :D

Come to think of it, I got my jersey from AllSports. They were decent jerseys back then - proper stitching, etc. The modern day UK jerseys don't seem to have that any more, which is a shame.

Nah, could not be possible. But it could be, and if he is that could still mean Sestito was the 2nd best player in England this season. Or 3rd..depends on whether or not you think Biznasty is better than Sestito. LOL>

God that is bright. My eyes. My eyes.
Sestito is slow...not lazy. Just cannot skate that well, so looks lazy. He was also probably scared he would kill someone if he fought them. :-D

Saw that and laughed my head off. Ferguson get the Flyer goal? I would say Sestito is up at least 1-0 :-D

Haha! :D

I thought Belesky was more impressive than Sestito, to be honest. I went to Belesky's first game (incidentally, it was against Sestito) and, although rusty, was pretty decent (and he got better after a couple of games).

Bisnasty > Drew Miller > Belesky > Sestito

Speaking of jerseys, I can't say I've ever been an admirer of Fife's tartan design:

Btw, MWE are you going to the EIHL playoff weekend in April? I guess it's not all that far from where you live. I got my tickets last month.

This year there is going to be a 3rd/4th place playoff in the early afternoon on Sunday (followed by the final in the evening). I doubt it'll be a very exciting game, but it does make the weekend ticket much better value for money (IIRC the tickets are the same price as last year, but you're getting to see 4 games compared with last year's 3).

I find it's always difficult to kill time in the morning before the final (there's nothing much to do in Nottingham on a Sunday and the castle doesn't take long to go around). In the times I've been before, I've always ended up going to see the England v Scotland U-19 game (very dull and usually very one-sided) or the Awards Show (again, very dull) - so I'm glad there's an early Sunday game (even if the game itself isn't really going to be worth anything for the teams playing).

It seems Beyonce can only mime! ;)

Given the number of Scottish teams in the league, I'd say Susan Boyle would be appropriate!!

No..she sang at superbowl. YOu can tell. Think you could get Ms Boyle? I hear her fame went to her head and she now does Meth. So now her teeth look even scarier.

Come on .....you know Mr Astley would do it. And maybe Baby SPice. She is not up to much. I may watch if you get Ginger Spice.

Oh wow, Team GB were 0-3 down against France and have pulled 2 back in the past 5 minutes. Only about 8 minutes left in the final period... We just need one more goal... :uk:
