Players wont sign new contracts

Post by wildheart »

Hi guys well ive reached the divisional playoffs with Colorado but ive got 5 players including my goalminder and my RW both good players who are all refusing to negotiate new contracts at this time.
Is there any way i can get them 2 sign or am i resigned to just letting them go for nothing at the end of the season?

Usually you resign players in the offseason after the playoffs are complete.

They would rather concentrate on the games at hand than negotiating a new contract.

You have until July to sign players before they leave as free agents, but yeah they will probably change their tune about not wanting to negotiatie after the playoff run is done, as they tend to value being at a strong team.

You can also make an offer (according to what you think they deserve...). They'll maybe refuse, but sometimes they agree to negociate after this first offer... :-k

I never care about what the player says if I wanna keep him. :) Just offer them the contracts and they might just sign on.
