Freeware EHM

Prior to the development of Eastside Hockey Manager by SI Games, the game was a one-man freeware project by Risto Remes. This forum is the place to discuss any aspects relating to the freeware edition.

Have you ever played the original freeware EHM? Simple enough question.

Yeah I've played it quite a lot recently. Prior to EHM 2004 I played it a heck of a lot but, until this year, I hadn't touched it.

Ah, the freeware O:)

It was one of only three games that I would play literally all day. Wake up in the morning, run to the computer, and then not "snap out of it" until it was time for bed.

I loved the "Wizard Mode", too, which would hide player attributes. OOTP has a nice range of settings for hiding attributes, so I hope FHM borrows them.

I did try it, but can't say that I really got into it. The first commercial version of EHM was the game that got me into the series.

I'm aware of the Freeware EHM, but I've never really played it...

I "discovered" EHM in the summer of 2009, and pretty much immediately started on a retro database project!
As I read/learned more about the history/development of EHM, within a matter of days/weeks I went from an EHM Freeware project to an EHM07 project.
