Hertl was a stupid moronic oversight. ](*,)
Add me to the goalie list this season, I usually have decent to good goaltending but this looks dark dark dark.
I miss your bombing so feel free to continue!
I'm always better than my team, 'nough said BD. [-X

I missed the draft batdad. I have so much going on but that's no excuse. I'm an idiot. :dunno:

I have a bunch of S*C*R*U*B*S!!! ](*,)

The only decent players on my team are my keepers...

But, despite handicapping myself (for the 2nd season in a row) I'll still finish in the top half of the league... :-p

A victory doesn't look likely this week...Smith getting pulled and Lehtonen's injury didn't help, nor did my not realizing until last night that Kreider's in the AHL! (and like last year, my plus/minus is terrible)

I am enjoying the stat/player checking I am doing! Being involved in the League certainly increases my hockey enjoyment :-)

LOL Monahan too. Slow slow.

Tip of the day for the fastest person with a brain.

There is a player out there who is a LW who is ranked 37th overall, 11th as a LW, blocks shots in all but one game, PIM in all but one game, shoots all the time, has 3 assists and is a very strong power forward, who so far this season is looking like a poor man's Scott Hartnell.

Yet..he is still a free agent? I know I would have him on my team. Sheesh....

And wow..what an embarrasment of riches in goal for the gentleman who took over Sancouver. However...he has already lost a game. THat is literally the worst start my team has ever had. BOOOOO. :-D

You refused to trade him, so you thought he was. LOL. I mean the player that is (maybe was) available is in the mold of what Hartnell is supposed to be doing, and Backes, and even Burrows to some extent. A little of everything.

Woo hoo! I managed a victory this week to improve my record to 2 wins 1 loss :joy:

Lots of injuries for my team...with Lecavalier and Lehtonen already out I also lost Boyle, Timonen and Briere as the week played out

I actually used all 4 of my Matchup Acquisitions this week, and my adding goaltender Curtis McElhinney for today was key to my victory

My keepers were:
Pacioretty - Injured
Hartnell - Injured
Hall - Injured
Ryder - Sucked
van Riemsdyk - Just came back from injury
Toews - Underperforming
Letang - Injured
Enstrom - Really good
Wideman - Decent

Loads of injuries and add Prust och Riemer, to the list of injuries.

Anyone know how waivers work?

I understand the order of selection, but don't understand the "day" noted by the player's name...if I make a claim today on a player who has "(Wed)" beside his name...does this mean the claim doesn't go through until Wednesday?

As my roster/bench is full I I'll have to drop a player if I'm trying to add one, and I've been hesitant to drop a player in order to put a waiver claim in given I don't understand how waivers work

If you claim a player on waivers he won't be added to your team until the day listed by his name. Not sure wether the time of the day matters.
You need to choose who you're dropping by the time you make a claim. He will be with your team until the claim goes through. If someone else makes the claim, then you keep the guy you chose to drop

Rinne, out for four week just as he picked up his play again?! ](*,)
Now almost all my keepers are out with injuries, at least Letang seems to be coming back.

Woo hoo! Another victory this week to improve my record to 5 wins 1 loss :joy:

This was my closest victory ever as I experienced my first ever tie (6-6-0) against Manimal's Wild Boars.....the tiebreaker is Goals, and Dan Boyle's second goal last night 3:59 into the third period won it for me

That was his retaliation for me not keeping him. I've had him for at least three seasons, I think

My old team has been DESTROYED by this completely inactive (only set his lines once per week) owner. Terrible owner recruitment. Manimal is almost as bad at owner recruitment as Buttman. :-D

My team isn't doing well. I am open for trades. Stamkos, Kesler, Karlsson and McDonagh are the only untouchables

It's your fault for quitting on us!
Quit ranting and get back to work! :tiptap:

Stamkos would be a steal longterm for just about any player, though I don't think a can afford it shortterm.

Well I’m up 6-4-2 going into the final games today, and I’ve got 12 skaters and a goalie playing today (I used up all 4 transactions this week!) while the Dead Parrots have 3 skaters and a goalie…so I’m hoping I'll be 6 wins 1 loss by the end of the day

But next week I’m up against Corinthians, and both my starting goalies only play 2 games next week!…as it looks now I’ve got 58 possible skater games (Corinthians 65) and 5 possible goalie games (Corinthians 9)
