Pre-order EHM 2007 Now!
With only 15 days left until EHM 2007 is released, you can now pre-order to ensure that you get priority notification of when the game can be downloaded. Also, those that pre-order will get access to super-fast file servers to download their copy of the game.
This year's game is only available via digital download; therefore you won't be able to find a copy in the shops. You'll need a credit card, debit card, cheque or money order to purchase the game (Paypal is not supported). The advantage of digital download is that you will be given a license to install the game on two machines. Moving licences between PCs is easy as licenses can be activated/deactivated via the Windows Control Panel.
The file size will be around 50mb and will be available from the 22nd September (UK Time).
You can pre-order you copy at the SI Web Store (PC) and (Mac)

Fantastic, but can someone do me a favour. I believe you get a discount if you are registered with SI, and there is a box to type in a discount code. As I don't have internet at home at the moment, and cannot log into SI from work, can someone ask over there how I can get my code. Many Thanks

You need to be registered with the SI Games Main Site (as opposed to their Forums which use a seperate user account). When you register at their Main Site you can set what games, if any, you would like to be notified about via e-mail. In order to receive the EHM discount code you will need to have asked to be notified about EHM. You will then receive an e-mail containing the code some time in the future.
I'm registered at the Main Site and receive EHM announcement e-mails and I'm yet to receive details of the discount code. I'll let you know if/when I receive the code. Alternatively, you could e-mail Marc Duffy (marc_duffy AT sigames.com).

Just seen it on SI forumsarchibalduk wrote:I think you may have to phone e-licence to pay with something other than credit/debit cards
Edit: Apparently other payment options will be added to the site later on...

Thanks anyway

But i also seen that it will be a 5€ surplus to order by cheque!

And the option to have a backup CD of the game will cost 10€... I'm all right to pay a surplus for the backup CD,but never thought it would 10€! Thought it would be around 5€.
So if i want the game, pay by cheque, and have a backup cd,it will cost me:
30€ (the game) + 5€ (payment by cheque) + 10€ (backup cd) = 45€...when a boxed version is around 50€,but i won't have a sympathic box and a paper manual...
However,i'll buy the game,no matter how much it'll cost to me... I won't take the backup cd (option that i strongly wanted, but not cheap enough) and i'll try to find a friend who lend me his credit card,so i'll only pay 30€ (well,29.99€ to be right)... Not exactly what i predicted to do...

Shadd - do you have a CD burner? You could burn your downloaded copy onto a CD.

I get the impression that the e-mail will be sent during the weekend. Marc Duffy mentioned that the discount will be available this weekendironcity57 wrote:Just went back and checked the email I receieved from sigames.com on Aug 9th(the only one I've received from them in a long time - announcing the upcoming release of the new game and it's features) but no mention of any pre-ordering or discount code?

Are there any other reasons to preorder other than faster downloads and a priority notification?(Duffy didn't mention any at the forums) Beacuse if not, I think I might as well wait till release day to order. I can't get the game until I'm out of school for the day, obviously, which is about 2:45(US/CAN eastern). I'm certain the gane will be up long before that, so I don't need a notification... and 50mb files download quite fast on my internet, so I'm not too worried about speed, even if a lot of people are still on the servers.

I agree, 50mb is a small size file to download so hopefully it won't take that long. However, I am wondering how much bandwidth users will be able to get if there are thousands of people trying to download at once. In the past, SI's servers haven't been that great but hopefully they've managed to make things much quicker. I've noticed over the past week that downloading from the SI site has greatly improved.B. Hey guys, just a question there: It seems that the download will be around 50Mb, right?? Can I assume that the file is compressed and we have to unzip it??
I ask that because I remember EHM05 was bigger, not??
....or maybe Iam just confused
Also, Marc Duffy already mailed me back and he told me that the discount coupon will be coming soon!!!! Cool!!!
