Any advice on developing Defenseman?
No problem developing top 6 forwards. Just my D is always lagging behind. ANy advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am sure there is a ton in the hot prospects thread on developing D. They get better when you practice in areas of weakness, and play them the # of minutes they are ready for. I usually leave in AHL for two seasons before bringing up (At least two). They are slower to develop and usually do not play at top levels no matter what attributes are (except for rare occasions) until they are 25-30.

also for some reason there are gy like eminger in the uudb 5.5 database that despite their atributes just never seem to develop well. when drafting dmen never forget to take into account anticipation (one of if not the most overlooked attributes) it can 9ften make up for lower skills and will help greatly in odd man rushes
