Roster 2014/2015 crashes

Hi to all!

I am using by patch by Archibalduk version 1.5 selecting start year 2013 as it advised.

But the game always crashes on 30th of September in the first year.

Please help.

Try starting in 2014 to see if that makes a difference. The game has a limit on contract lengths and if you're starting the game a year too early then it might cause contracts to be too long (thereby causing a crash).

Finally, I have managed to finish first season with several crashes. But in no way I can start second season? Any ideas?

You must use the CSD Patch every time you reload your saved game until you reach the requisite date in game (see the readme). If you don't do this then the game will become corrupted and will be irrecoverable.

Archibalduk, I`m using patch every time before start game, then loading my saved game...
Maybe I don`t understand principle how this patch works (as I have just to this game fans), however now after first season with 2014/2015 roster and patch (loading year 2013) the game crashes on 25th of May.

I have tried to set start year 2014, and 2015 before launching the game, but the result the same. Can you pls assist? Otherwise, I can play only one season and two games of cup final.

To make it easy for helpers I will describe my actions:
1. Open patch version 1.5 and setting start year 2014.
2. There is icon on the screen: "Error registering product". I press "OK" and the game is starting.
3. Starting new game in NHL, however start date us chosen in Russia 2nd of August.
4. I had a crash on 30th of September.
5. I loaded my saved game without the patch and managed to play almost till the end (full regular + 2 games in cup final) - 25th of May.

I assume that the problem comes from point 5, when I`m loading game without patch, but it is only one way, how I can pass through September`s crash.

What is the "Error Registering Product" error you mention? Can you post a screenshot of when the error appears?

My guess is that this error might be affecting the Patch being applied correctly.

I don`t know how to attach image, it is uploaded at aforementioned link.

This error comes always, even if I run the game without the patch.

It looks like you might be running the cracked version from your screenshot. I can see in the background that your EHM file is 16mb. This isn't the right size. It should be around 9mb for both the eLicense and CD-ROM versions.

This might explain the error - and will likely explain the crash. The CSD Patch was not designed or tested to work with the crack.

Try using the "Apply Patch Only" button instead. So load EHM without the Patch to the main main screen and then use the Apply Patch Only button. There are more details in the Readme.

I have updated to the last patch and now it is approx. 9mb. But it requires CD-ROM. Is it possible to play without CD-ROM?

The Patch is designed to work with the eLicense version (version 3.0.4). It won't work with the CD-ROM version (I have tried and the CD-ROM version is very different in terms of the way it runs in the RAM).

You've got two choices:

1. Buy the eLicence version if it is still on sale; or
2. Don't use the Patch and use the 2006 adjusted rosters.

I have read almost every topic on that forum and downloaded every correct file.
Now I`m starting game version 3.0.4, using 180 day trial mode.

And game crashes on 30 of September. What would your advise?

Well... Too early. trial is for 180 days in the game, not in in real life. That`s a pity that my manager career finishes. Or is it possible to buy full version?

The trial version should give you the opportunity to buy the full version. We're not 100% sure whether or not the game is still for sale - we have had differing reports from various users. The only way to find out is to try buying it - if it's no longer on sale then it won't let you buy it.
