Managing low division teams

Post by Dron »

One key aspect i always missed with EHM is the possibility to take a low division team(like really low) and taking them to the highest division and winning it.

The problem i face with EHM is that first the arena is unable to expand(especially since the lower teams have rented arenas) so the attendance never grows, also it seems near impossible to get a better economic situation.

Is there a way around this? Can i edit the arena in a save and simulate an expansion?

Or does anyone have some good ideas for how to do this?

This concerns EHM:EA

You can edit the arenas using the Pre-Game Editor: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =88&t=6745

You'll need to download the EHM 2007 version of the TBL Rosters v7.3 and then use the Editor to make your edits. Then once you're done, import the rosters into EHM:EA.

The issue with the arenas is pretty much reflective of how lower league teams are in real life - or at least certainly in the UK.

Alright, thanks.

Here in Sweden the teams who go up from Hockeyallsvenskan(Swedens 2nd league) to SHL have some requirements on the arena, which means they "have" to build a decent arena, if they dont already have one. Usually the arenas are heavily sponsored so they dont pay it all themselves, wish this bit was better in EHM, the economic part.

Yup, that was a problem in EHM 07 too. The solution was to edit all arenas, so that they were owned by the team, not rented.
