Hi,
I have been wondering how these options work. I don't like how the tactical systems is made and I find it difficult and time consuming to do all the unit tactics, considering line changes are frequent due to injuries and players swaps.
That being said, in the General Manager Options, I set NO to Coach game yourself combined with NO to Use current tactics. Would that mean that every game that is played, the tactics are being adjusted like the coach wants them but without me knowing what are the chosen tactics and unit tactics ? I am saying without me knowing since there is no way to see the tactics if I am not in the game view when I don't coach game myself.
Anyone knows how this functionality actually works ?
In the same idea, it would then be nice to have a Ask coach button for the tactics like there is for the rosters and lines. The coach would adjust all the tactics and unit tactics to what he believe each lines and individual players should have and then you can have the last word by modifying the tactics a bit as you wish afterwards.

You have it exactly right. Choosing not to coach games yourself and not to use current tactics will leave your head coach in control of it all. He'll handle the lines and tactics as he sees fit. And unfortunately, you're also right in that you can't see what tactics he's using; it all happens under the hood.
Personally, I hope they work on this area a bit and make the General Managaer/head coach separation more of an "official" part of the game, rather than it being mimicked through settings.
