It might be cool to have a time limit for draft picks like in RL.

What for? Who you slowing down? AI Picks right away....you get to take your time. Good thing. But in fact I actually impose a time limit on myself. 5 minutes to check around for picks and decide.

I dunno, it is like when you watch the real NHL draft. It could also limit the need to actually press the "next pick" button. So you can scout in the draft and use up the time before your pick to take your pick.

I would love to be able to set my own dates for training camp. (I would prefer to run it a week or so earlier then when it normally starts).

I see that they added some colours to the attributes, I wish the range AND the colours to be customizable by the player.
Come to think of it, is it possbile they already are, maybe in one of the cfg files??

I'd like the ability to print out almost any menu selection or export to CSV. There is just way too much information to keep track of when it comes to rosters and contracts and constantly flipping through menus is a pain. I'd really like to be able to print out the contract details of my team so I can thoroughly go over everything in one handy list without having to write it all down by hand. Namely ROSTER>filter ALL CONTRACTED>view CONTRACT

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
- Have a message mentioning when a player has a career-high season. Not just the milestones for every 100th point/goal/
- Ability to trade with salary retained
- AI to perform trades during the draft. This happens in real life. Would be nice if there were some trades while a team is on the clock
That last point is just 1 thing but I think the draft as a whole can be made into a much bigger segment of the game since it's the thing most players enjoy the most.

AMazing--dont think we need your first point, if you do not know the kid is playing great not really on the game is it?
two--looks like it will be there with the $ thing being a button in NHL trades
It already does happen, you can go out and make an offer and instant come back. Or sometimes you get offers, just have to pay attention to your news. AI trades with AI as well.
It always amazes me that a game with depth, designed with depth as one of the NUMBER 1 reasons and parts of the game.....gets criticism for having TOO MUCH TO DO AND TOO MUCH INFORMATION to track. Duh...what is the point otherwise? EA SPORTS makess a great game with no depth.

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
In the goalie history section the amount of shutouts a goalie gets every year should be listed. There is plenty of room to have it listed and it's a key statistic. I know shutouts are in the stat section but for example i was looking at the stats and noticed that Quick had 9 shutouts about two thirds through the season so i was curious how many he had the prior season. I went to his profile and i was disappointed to see that a stat like that would not be listed.

Same here... I'll never forget the first time I played the original freeware EHM, looked at a player's profile and "HOLY @#(@&#*(@ THEY HAVE HIS @*)(#$*)(#@ JUNIOR TEAM AND STATS!!!!" ... The more depth, the better. That's what makes you feel immersed in the game and feel like you're actually part of a the hockey world.nino33 wrote:I can relate! Speaking of the freeware version that had a simple feature I'd like to see brought back... "Schedule Extra Practices". Nowadays you can discipline individual players, but there is no way (unless I've missed it all these years) to tell the entire team you're not happy with their recent performance. I'd love an option to run some extra skating drills on an off-day after a bad game (you know the ones when all your players get 5's and 6's).

In the screenshot below, two goalies fight. Fleury has been suspended for two matches. He now will miss the first two games of the Stanley Cup final. No way this will happen in real live. Look at the score, why on earth would (my) players risk a ban? I'm very lucky only Fleury will be suspended...

One thing I noticed is that there is still a salary cap active when the play offs start. Maybe they can change this, since there is no salary cap during NHL play offs.

More advanced filtering options when searching for players. I really want to be able to search players based on their performance ratings in the playoffs. Right now I have to do it one player at a time through history and changing the scope. 3 clicks I think per player?

Since this is a game won't players perform the same way in the regular season as they do in the playoffs? Only difference is in the playoffs they will face tougher teams. I don't know if the game is advanced enough for a player to have the ability to perform differently in the playoffs and regular season.azymin wrote:More advanced filtering options when searching for players. Apart from the complete World Championship with all 3 divs playable - we ready need an pre game editor, a in-game editor & a saved editor same as the famous Football Manager series made by Sega - as it allowed players to make their own playable leagues & competitions - which would make this good game even beter.

Well then sorting by regular season average rating would work too

Since EHM 2007 there were some changes in format of World Championships...not more two groups of Division 1, but now there is Division 1B and winner of that group goes to Division 1A. From Division 1A two teams go to elite division. Elite division now has two groups of 8 teams and last team from each group is relegated.
Same goes for division 2 and 3.
Same goes for division 2 and 3.

I would love to have youth intake like in Football Manager for euro teams where applicable. My junior teams never seem to get any new players.

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
When looking at a players history it would be nice if it showed the last years and totals line since that is the part I'm usually wanting to see. Would save finding the scroll bar and scrolling down every time. Very seldom do I want to see the first few years which are at the top.
