Eastside Hockey Manager - Wishlist

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the windowed mode/resolution issue. I've tried every fix possible and none have worked. It takes sometime 5 minutes for the game to load because it's constantly switching resolutions.

One other simple request for future updates would be the ability to print and/or dump to text file the players history screen. You can do this for nearly every screen in the game except an individual player's career stats, and that's the only one I really want.

Describtion box when mouse-over (Especially on Tactics screen)
Photos of all the tactics when choosing (like umbrella in PP) Så se what they all look like (My words for a tactic might be different than the ones used in games so a visual alternative would be great)
Play in window mode
Trade value of a player or draft pick, to make it "easier" to make a fair trade bid
Diamond formation when on the Kill

I think it would be cool if you could see how well a player has performed in different positions or different lines. Like in the team statistics page, you could have a filter with "Show only in first line" etc and "Show stats as LW". The option to sort by side exist now but that just shows all player who can play on the left or right or center.

I like that idea. Also if it's not in the game already because if it is i can't figure it out, a way to select your lines for your 2nd powerplay or 2nd penalty kill. Only gives you the option to change the first line. The 2nd is important as well.

You can set ur 2nd PP and PK lineups, it's right there with PP1 and PK1

And yeah, more stats is needed in the future, fancy stats aswell as more in depth normal stats such as what you described here above

Then for now ... you need to make your own game aiden. Because this one is a "MANAGEMENT" game...with a side of head coaching.

I have to agree with batdad. While I would like to see more support for playing as either head coach or GM, I think playing as chairman, president, or other staff roles would be a bit outside the scope of EHM.

Agreed, that's something they can branch out towards in EHM18 (if we ever get there) when the game is working as intended and all the more important features are in

Something I wish to change is how the delaying a trade/transfer works when the deadline is only a few days later. Instead of the usual week it should only be delayed until the deadline day.

People always bang on about this for FM wishlists and I just don't get it? I think it would get dull pretty quick as it really just takes away parts of the game. (Not meaning to slate your suggestion, I just don't think it would be as fun as maybe you think it would be?)

Do goals get waved-off in the match engine? Can't recall ever having seen one, but maybe that's just me. I remember even ChampMan3 had disallowed goals.

One issue regarding trading I've stumbled upon quite a few times, that I don't think was mentioned.

Say you want to trade player A for player B. Then you gauge the interest level of the other GM and you get *There's a lot to like here* (or something similiar), indicating that they would be more than happy to engage in trade negotiation with you. However, they come back the next day only to turn your offer down. I tried adding different picks, even tried to overpay massively but to no avail.

I don't mind the offer being rejected, however it's really annoying when the game indicates that you are close to deal but no matter how you modify your offer, it still gets declined.

More advanced filtering options when searching for players. I really want to be able to search players based on their performance ratings in the playoffs. Right now I have to do it one player at a time through history and changing the scope. 3 clicks I think per player?

Since this is a game won't players perform the same way in the regular season as they do in the playoffs? Only difference is in the playoffs they will face tougher teams. I don't know if the game is advanced enough for a player to have the ability to perform differently in the playoffs and regular season.

If you do a player search, than View --> Stats, and Scope --> Playoffs... no?

Could be wrong but from what I remember I think it's doable. Not sure if you can get career numbers though.

It's only for the current season which doesn't really help me in evaluating free agents in the off season

i really like the tips you get ingame during loading screens, just wish i was Quick enough to read them, maybe there could be another way to implent them so i could have a chance to read them

I'm also wondering if it's necessary to delete players as soon as they retire. A lot of players who end up in the HHOF are no longer visible and it would be nice to be able to still see their stats after they retire. Guys like Datsyuk, Lundqvist, Emelin, Nash, St. Louis, Iginla, Jagr etc have retired but have also been deleted from the DB
