Limit on the number of staff you can hire for each type?

Post by ABigDumbOgre »

In FM, I know you could look at the board restrictions for things like assistant coaches, scouts, physios, etc. but I can't seem to find it anywhere in EHM and google isn't helping.

Where should I be checking to find this out? If there's no hard limit, what's a good suggested staffing plan (i.e. 5 assistant coaches, 10 scouts, etc) to aim for?

Thanks!

Awesome, thanks!

Is this the same for all levels, or does it scale down a bit? I looked at AHL and ECHL and they only have like 3 and 1 assistant coach and no scouts. Can I add some staff to those teams as well? I've already set up two additional GMs to run them.

If you don't hire a Head Coach (ie, you keep the GM/Head Coach title yourself) you can hire 6 Assistant Coaches.

Do you do that by just firing the head coach and bringing in an assistant? Or does it have to be assigned somewhere?

I'm at work so can't check, but I believe the head coach can't be assigned to training, only assistants, so the above is a really good tip if you haven't found a use for the head coach!

Yup...just fire the head coach and then you can hire another assistant.

And yes the head coach can be assigned in training.
