We just don't have a great team here, we have a young team with lots of potential but no big names at all except OEL. Our Centers are Lander-Sjögren-Rask-Josefsson kind of tells the story right there.

Shure? Ericsson, Sjögren, Lindholm and Josefsson or?

Perhaps but the right way at Sweden play with a young team. Eventually, the upheaval must come.

All I can say to Victor Rask that he played a good season with Carolina. At least the game I saw live on TV, he has always believed. Unfortunately Carolina a not so strong team. Maybe another team would have been better for him.

Now 3:0 Does not look good.

What? Yes those are our centers, maybe its Lundqvist in the 4th line with Josefsson on the wing... Rask has had a good season and he is a good young player but that Center core is not a strong center core for the WC. Sweden just doesn't have a strong team here and i wasn't expecting anything from us.

CZ 1:0 deserved lead

Very good game from Czech Republic so far. I did not expect. But the audience carry the team.

Incredible game of the Czech Republic. Flying across the ice.

uppps 1: 1 Crazy. Finnish ice man's :nosleep:

And not all of them play in the NHL! How can we change the rules now, if only NHL players should be banned? :-D

Nah ban the KHLers. Leave the NHLers alone.

Czechs should only be allowed 3 guys,...I mean they are dismantling Finland.

Heh. Where is that Canada-Finland semi final? GO Khazakstan as you have the requisite number of NHLers allowed.

Sweden started out very bad in the first period. Sloppy passing, bad positioning and Enroth did not have a good day.
Fought back very well from then on, but the Russians are just too fast, too strong and too skilled for the Swedish team today

I'm not in a good mood right now.

Jagr was better than Finland this time. And Rinne didn't do so well either. Heck the whole Finnish team could have done a lot better. 8-[

Maybe it was better this way. Probably would have embarrassed themselves against Canada in the semifinals. Canada killed Belarus today.

and now Jagr must beat Canada

Also think that Finland was not good today. But the Czech Republic have really made a great game. The first period was madness.

They've been too strong and fast for Sweden in WC and Olympics 11 years already. :-D
Sorry.. I always have to mock Sweden even though Finland lost to one man team called Jagr.

I hope Jagr wins gold!

But pretty sure it's CAN-RUS in the final.

I'm still very disappointed at how our team played. :-( Rinne let in two easy goals, our defence wasn't there and our passes sucked. We didn't deserve to win with that play even when most Finns, who don't follow hockey other than the national team, say that it was the refs fault. I'm just really... well.. I just would like to swear in Finnish and drop my tv out the window. :D (joke)

I really thought this team had potential and that's why I feel the most let down. At least the Ducks are still in the fight (so far).

You're absolutely right, we didn't deserve to win. We could have won, but I know we can play A LOT better, that's why I think we got what we deserved.

I think we agree. Canada is deserved World Champion. =D> They have wobbled only once and that was against Sweden. Honestly, the worst of these World Championship were the referees. Much rubbish refereed.
