Hello all,
So I am fairly new to this game, so forgive me I this has been answered before, but search showed nothing.
I am a ECHL GM, and when my players get hurt I can never find a option to put them on IR. Signing roster depth is all but impossible when 3 guys are hurt and you are near the cap.
Also, I assume IR gets you a salary cap break?
Thanks.

Re: Trouble finding IR
A few things seem to be broken with the ECHL. Can't put players on IR, players loaned or assigned to you from affiliates count on your salary cap and what you can offer players, coaches or scouts is unrealistically capped. Hope it gets fixed as I always play my AHL and ECHL affiliates.

I don't play lower leagues but what you are reporting seems to be legit of an issue. Have you reported this on the SI forum CeeBee ?

Re: Trouble finding IR
I just started up a test sim with an ECHL team and can confirm that an IR option is not available for an injured player. I have a player injured for 2 weeks but am not given the option to put him on IR.
Has this been posted on the SI forums yet? If not, I can do so.

Re: Trouble finding IR
The issue with how much you can offer players is definitely true. Also doing multi years deals is also a problem sometimes.
