EHM Assistant: A saved game editor/scout for Eastside Hockey Manager 1 [v1.5 beta-6 now supported]

Discuss all aspects of editing the data and databases in EHM here. Have a question about the EHM Editor, EHM Assistant, editing the .cfg files, hex editing the .dat or .db files? Want to tweak the EHM exe file to change league rules/structure, start date etc? This is the place!

Have a bug or feature request for the EHM Editor? Post them in the EHM Editor thread. Please start a new thread or post in another thread if you have a question about how to use the EHM Editor.

Given the large number of questions on similar topics, we ask that you start a new thread for a new question unless you can locate a similar question in an existing thread. This will hopefully ensure that similar questions do not get buried in large threads.

i found that this assistant cannot change the players contract length..It will be the best if can change it abit..sometimes I hate those player asking for silly salary and because of that i exceed my cap..

Filters and buttons greyed out and un-usable... any known reason this isn't working? Hit load game and it simply checks names, date is shown at the bottom left, but can't do anything else with the Assistant.

Date is shown because is read in different place.
Buttons are greyed when 0 staffs found or error when serching/checking data.

You may disable cheking items open
EHM_folder\opt\options.xml and change <node name="CheckItems">true</node> to <node name="CheckItems">false</node>

Can you try run as administrator.

Tried both, 1 at a time, both together. re downloaded, reinstalled. Same thing happening.

Ladies and gentlemen=--In case you have for some reason not noticed this....the updater needs some changes to it to make it work whenever EHM EA puts out an update to the game. I am sure that our friend who has been so kind to do this work for everyone will get to it when he has a chance. It is not as though he is an employee getting paid or an owner of the game. I am sure garfild will get to it when he can.

Is there a reason when I filter and look for a player they don't show up sometimes?

Also, any chance you can have an export to shortlist, because that would make drafts so much easier :)
