Savegames to D: drive-Not C: drive.

Post by Athebes1 »

Hi.

I was wondering if there's a way for EHM:EA 2014 to save games other than in
C:.../users/xxx/documents/sports Interactive/EHM/ games.
Since my space is running out on my small ssd C: drive.
I've been playing around with the game alot and don't have save compression on,
so it fills up quickly. 20-30 GB just in save games alone.

I know that I can just delete them, but as said, I'm doing some trials and error projects
which require alot of savegames(at least for me) and would love for them to go in
one place right away instead of moving the folder from one drive to the other constantly.

The game itself is installed on my D: drive, but refuses to put my savegames in other
places than my userprofile on the C: drive. All my Steamgames are on my D: drive.
There must be a way, since I can do it with most other Steamgames.

Any help would be appreciated.
I've been searching google, steam and all affiliated EHM sites, but can't seem to
get hold of the info I need other than the solutions always ends up with being
about the game itself. I know how to put my steamapps on my D: drive, as mentioned, but not the
saved games for EHM:EA 2014. ](*,)
Please, please help since it's annoying me and probably is very simple. :dunno:
Sorry if I posted it in the wrong place.

From the main menu screen, click on the Preferences button. At the bottom of the Preferences screen there is a text box. Try entering the new folder location you want into that box. I haven't tested it; but that's supposed to be how to edit it.
