All I want is touch screen support and a bigger resolution.

because no dateline, i loose my important prospect player to UFA..(I am new to this qualifying offer matter, before only thought that RFA if not re-sign will be maintain their right, but after this happened, i start learning something, EHM lack of this kind of details.)

hope this can be done. thanks
I don't have my NHL save open now- but it's there. I think Protected list under view of your roster says the date that the rights expire.

I'd like to see the handling of trade offers performed on its own separate screen.

trying to make sense of trades through the news screen is cumbersome, especially when offering a player to all teams. just put it off in its own little thing where it's easier to manage.

also i hope the team adds fm-style player and media interaction down the road.

I don't have the game open now, but isn't that available if you un-zoom?

Are you looking for more than you already get when you scout your own team/prospects?

Do you mean on the continental level? I would be surprised if Champions Hockey League did not make it to the game at some point.

I hope that they will add the Danish league (Metal Ligaen) because we have alot of young talent coming up through the young system.
And some of them are going to Sweden to play junior hockey, so I would love to play with Malmö or Leksand IF and buy/get some young talent players from Denmark. :-)

I know it would be asking for much but I would LOVE this game on a whole new level if they... added achievements on Steam. I've always been a sucker for achievements, I try to get them on my Xbox, I try to get them on my Steam games and if they could implement achievements at least somewhat close to the FM level, I would be amazed. Does anyone have any info if this could be possible or any reason why this is never going to happen?

I think the reason it hasn't happened thus far is because there is only really one person working on the game (Riz) and he has to do it in between his day job, as I understand it. Thus with the little time he does have, it will be prioritised to fixing bugs, improving the AI, etc.

Sounds like a lot is on his hands.. :/ I understand that people would much rather have bugs fixed and the AI improved, so I won't complain.

Yeah it's kind of frustrating in some ways - but I'm just happy to see the game back. What's really positive is that if enough people buy the Early Access game, it should hopefully be developed on a more full time basis. 8-)

Well, I recently recommended it to a hockey friend of mine, he bought it and says he loves it! :)

I don't know if this already has been adressed but what i want in a hockey manager game is EXPANSION. And the option to move teams. FHM promised this but didn't deliver.
I just want to be able to bring bck the Nordiques, the Whalers and the North Stars!

You can (I think) resurrect teams from yesteryear with the DB editor, but expansion would also be cool. Not sure how editable the guys at SM want this to be though. Ultra-customizable stuff is usually in OOTP Developments' wheelhouse but I would love EHM to be as flexible as possible.

IMO there's a difference between reasonable/realistic expansion options and the "ultra-customizable" that's geared more to the fantasy world

I'd love someday for there'd be someway to get my 1974 DB from the end of 1974 (with the 18 team NHL and 12 team WHA) to the start of 1979 (with no WHA, a 21 team NHL, and 4 former WHA teams in the NHL).....I don't necessary need/expect all the NHL/WHA expansion, team folding (including mid season!) and team contraction that occurred IRL between 1974 and 1979, but a simplified way to get from 1974-1979 would be most excellent!

Expansion would be fun. OTTP has Leage E.,allows Expansion. FHM doesn't have either yet. Would be fun to say the Rangers Traded Martin St. Louis to 98 Pens for Mario and so on but Option like to add 98 League to 2015 would have to be included. Random Draft Classes like OTTP and Fast Break Basketball has.

Improved linematching would help a lot. The AI seems to stick with 1v3 2v2 3v1 4v4 linematching although it isn't quite popular these days. In modern game top lines are matched against oppositions top lines...

I don't see touch screen support being that useful in a game like this. Wouldn't you need a really big touch screen for that? I would definitely like to see adjustable resolution though. Higher resolution would be nice for people playing on traditional monitors but it would also be nice to see laptops accommodated. They're usually not high res but they've got wider yet slightly shorter screens. I know when I play on my home laptop I can only play in fullscreen mode and it just barely fits.

I never noticed that. I use 1vs2 2vs3 3vs4 4vs1 and it seems to work except the 4vs1 shows up at clutch times when it should just put 1&2 out and stop matching.

Would love an expansion option - though I don't know how they'd do it because of re-aligning the divisions and arranging schedules. But maybe I'm the only one with OCD that would be annoyed....

yeah, i'd like to be able to expand the league, i'm afraid of SI games stop updating the game before the NHL expands to 32 teams and we would get stuck with 30 teams  it would annoy me too
