Swiss hockey cup should be included in the game, not as single competition, but as part of NLA and NLB season....

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
Tried searching to see if it has been mentioned but couldn't find anything so what I would like to see implemented in the game is the ability to filter by cap hit in the player search-menu. For example if I'm looking for a center and only have about 3 million in cap space, it would be nice to be able to exclude all players with higher cap hit.

I'd guess someone probably already said this, but I'll throw it out there anyway. I'd really like to see face-off percentage as a stat.

See the small arrows on the left side of "GP" in the player statistics? You can view more by pressing the arrow pointing right.peachesgp wrote:I'd guess someone probably already said this, but I'll throw it out there anyway. I'd really like to see face-off percentage as a stat.

Yeah I found it. Hanzal is at 64% for my Coyotes. I'm intrigued to see where Bergeron is in my Bruins save. There are so many more stats tracked than I knew before I knew about the arrows. I thought stat tracking was very shallow before then.Tasku wrote:See A9L3E's post above. Click on the arrows to see more stats.

I would love to see stats for a team by year. In addition, when a player leaves or gets sent down, you can still see the stats they contributed to the team for that season.

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
Might have missed it, but it would be nice to have an option to clear the short list.
Would also be great to have the ability to assign players to practice certain skills (example center to work on faceoffs)
Salary cap to adjust itself each year, and expansion drafts would also be fun.
Please oh please fix the financial side of the game. Look at the Madden games and how extensive it is!
Contract extensions based on performance for player GM's
CORSI stats and graphs would be cool too

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
Can you be more specific on what needs to be fixed? I'm not saying nothing needs to be fixed! bit that it's hard to know what specifically needs to be addressed from your post (and I'm not sure how to use the Madden reference...which of the couple dozen hockey leagues in EHM do you want me to compare Madden to? HaHa seems to me that EHM simulates much more financially than Madden)Chayne55 wrote:Please oh please fix the financial side of the game. Look at the Madden games and how extensive it is!
EDIT - Just to clarify, I have no idea how much madden simulates (haven't played it in over a decade) but I do know there's only one Pro League, so only one set of rules/finances.....Madden doesn't include the CFL, the USFL and more than a dozen other Leagues and all their financial difference/nuances like hockey does)

I wish that Slovak first division would be playable. This year 12 temas are going to be very strong (some players from above extraliga are going to sign with first slovak league teams) with new relegation group stage (similar as Czechs two bottom from extraliga and two best from first slovak league). I can help with roster, staff or some other information about first slovak league..

A button on the home screen for AHL/ECHL affiliates would be nice. I remember it was missing in the earlier versions of '07, but was implemented in the latest patch. I switch between affiliates often so it's kind of a pain to have to sift through different menus to get there.

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
My wish is to fix attributes and player progression. I'm sick of every draft consisting of forwards with no defensive or physical skills and all defenders with defensive but no offensive skills. Even the guys with 180+ potential never progress any stats more than a point or two. The game as you get far into is boring because very single player looks exactly the same. I can get the same type of player in the 5th round that I can in the top 5. I refuse to start a new game (played 100 hours so far) right now because it's pointless until this stuff is fixed, there is nothing tactical with the game at this point especially considering when the top players in the draft actually have decent attributes in every category, there potential is usually 120 - 135, which leaves no room to develop..
Also coaching is pointless. I have changed every single coaching program to intense in every category because it doesn't matter. The players will never get tired. I let the coach takeover the coaching aspect so if anybody gets relatively tired he will sit them for a few games, but then just put right back on to intense everything. It's to easy.

It will be nice if there a Prospect Development camp before starting of Training Camp in every off season.
From there can be measure whether the prospect is ready for NHL or not.

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
Champion's Hockey League (If this hasn't been added)?
And as EHM are sponsoring some British NIHL ('3rd Division') clubs maybe that level should be made playable? It's low-down but a lot of English Premier League ('2nd Division') talent has dropped down there for this season?
Would love training to mirror more the training package in FM15 (where you train a player based on their position and role, and depending on the role it concentrates on specific attributes). Particularly with Player-roles now being a 'thing' that would be the ideal way for us to develop talent/concentrate on certain attributes.
Also (as with the older CM's) I always find players getting unhappy when you try and re-side/re-position them on the current training module, whereas it's 'individual' training in the newer FM's and (while it takes time) it is a lot more successful.

I'd love it if there was an overview of my current trade offers. Sometimes I make 4 or 5 offers at the same time and then I can't remember what I offered to whom (especially draft picks)

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
Two things i want to see are the standings to include wildcard standings. It's how the real NHL does it and i think it looks better then the other standings they use in the game. The second is to include the ability to update the rosters yourself without having to use a game editor or any of those things you have to download separately. I hate having to wait months for my rosters to be updated. I want to be able to make the trades in game and update the rosters on my own if need be.

I totally get the desire to have an in-game editor...I'm not sure why you add you hate waiting months/want to make your own edits (you can do your own editing now, you just choose not to)krownroyal83 wrote:The second is to include the ability to update the rosters yourself without having to use a game editor or any of those things you have to download separately. Well point in the direction of a how to video or guide of how to go about it step by step. Thanks
I'm assuming the way to edit now is quick and simple just like an in-game editor would be?

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
I'm not sure really (I'm mostly just familiar with EHM and it's never had an in-game editor). There's two options for database editing #1 the PreGame Editor #2 the EHM Updaterkrownroyal83 wrote:Well point in the direction of a how to video or guide of how to go about it step by step. Thanks

I'd think if it's small, simple things then yeah it's pretty simple...use the Pregame Editor http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =88&t=6745). If you're trying to create an entire hockey world, then I'd think the EHM Updater http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 10&t=11154 would actually be better than an in-game editor (because using spreadsheets one can mass edit, multiple people can work on a project, copy/paste can be used to reduce workload, etc).
Keep in mind that the process is to edit an EHM07 database (using either the Pregame Editor or the EHM Updater) and then import it into EHM:EA
There's no "how to video" for the Pregame Editor, but I think it's mostly self explanatory...
Use right click and select "Run as Administrator" when opening the PreGame Editor is important (or your work might not save)...open the PreGame Editor, load up a database, make edits (ensure you press Confirm and Save after making changes)
There's a Data Editing Forum with helpful threads/posts http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... .php?f=110
And within the Data Editing Forum the Pregame Editor has it's own thread http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... start=1000
Using the Search Function for key words within the right Forums/Threads will help you answer many of your own questions...if not, you can ask what you need to

The EHM Updater is a bit more complicated, but it comes with a ReadMe pdf file that explains most things.
Essentially.....everything's in spreadsheets. You export data from the database. You also export "templates" for importing the changes you want to make. You edit what you want from what you exported, copy/past it into the right template, and then import your changes. The EHM Updater isn't "quick & easy" at first and I wouldn't recommend it for making just a few changes. But for large projects (like the 1974/1998 databases), for mass editing/experimenting, and for allowing many people to work on the same database at the same time (very helpful for the TBL Rosters) the EHM Updater is great! And IMO once you get used to it/familiar with it, it is pretty quick & easy...
There's also a new, improved Updater in the works that we'll hopefully have available in the coming weeks/months...
Also, if you're not aware, there is the EHM:EA Assistant http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... &start=250 available for editing some things in an EHM:EA saved game (you can only edit a saved game, not a database)

Re: Eastside Hockey Manager Early Access - Wishlist
I found something called Eastside hockey manager UK pre-editor editor. Seems really easy to use. It looks like i can move players to the teams i would like them to be on but i have no clue how to move draft picks as i don't see it as an option. I did a test moving Kessel to the Pens and it worked. Thanks for taking the time to help me though. Looks like it's a pretty old tool. I'll read over what you wrote and see if can figure this out. But this is why i would love an in-game editor. So people don't have to go through all this hassle.

That's the Pregame Editor I was referring tokrownroyal83 wrote:I found something called Eastside hockey manager UK pre-editor editor.
I don't know anybody who's against the idea.krownroyal83 wrote: But this is why i would love an in-game editor. So people don't have to go through all this hassle.
Anything you or anyone else picks up as "against" such ideas is probably long time EHMers (like me) thinking please please please let them fix the gameplay bugs and issues first rather than add additional Leagues (that don't quite work right, like many of the current Leagues) or things like an in-game editor...
But it's a wish list! So I do try not to express this view, I want people to have their wishes! HaHa
But I really would hate for SI to get the wrong idea...I'd love for the focus to be gameplay/bug fixes first (without us knowing whether development will continue, I guess I fear it might stop with the gameplay issues still a problem - this community has shown the ability to develop the tools and do the editing, but the gameplay is something only SI/Riz can deal with)
I'd love for SI to think "fix the gameplay first" - that's my wish
