It was just a time thing; got money from my job like fitty bucks. I have a 1 dolla pin I bought at a second hand shop so if anyone meets me at the rooftop I'll give it to ya and you can give it back to me and that knocks off a mom's nag for both of us...
Oh, I logged out for a bit and then back in but not sure if that made any difference Also bought a second hand can of spraypaint and named it "Tina"
I think the songs get worked on because you have set your 'career mission' project to Compose...
Figured out how to give people things; up on rooftop since B72 (Palmer Haskins) and were both there I just clikced on his character name and then on 'Items' and it shows you what they have and what you have and you can give them things or steal things from them
Oh, and everyone I speak to with the 'interact' thing finds me so hidjeous that I get notes in my 'diary' that says that they "wants to end our relationship." That's because of the terrible charm and terrible looks thing so talking to each other is our only hope I think

Cute... but you do realize that being friends is the only way we'll advance in the game right? And if you want to just blow everyone off we won't get very far. It's time-based so the longer you've known someone and the better friends you are (giving items bumps up your levels btw) the more options you get for interacting. So really everyone should add the other band peeps to their friends lists. Start by clicking on people's names in the 'Artist' page and in their 'character sheet' there is an option to add them to your friends. If not in the band yet then go to 'Community' and under 'Game World' do the 'Search' option for Characters and enter people's names.
Then when you hae them in your friends list you can go to your Character menu under 'Friends' and click on anyone's name to see where they are hanging out at. Everyone should get out to a location like Central Park or meet up with me at a rooftop, and at least talk to/tell a joke to the other people from the band, then you'll see them in the 'Relationships' area of your Character page. Doing stuff like that gets you experience points so you can start transforming yourself from being a terrible looking person with terrible lack of talent and IQ
Or just blow everyone off and tell them you want to end tyour relationship because it's "funny"
Edit: I for some reason get male characters I don't know giving me things and wanting to buy me drinks whenever I hang out in Central Park...

I thought when it said end relationship it would take me out of the interaction screen.

Uggggh! I hated Lucas! He was probably one of the people I wanted to win least out of the whole competition. That guy was terrible.

You are already in a band...
I can leave that band. It's just me. My mother told me to start a career, so I had no choice. I'll leave and join you guys if you've still got room.
By the way anyone who wants to come work with me at CBGB as a bartender they're paying $360 and have four opening still I think. They are wayyyyy down the job listings page though; almost at the bottom... probably why they haven't filled yet. I figured that would be a cool place for us to work since it's a punk club and maybe working there will eventually get us an 'in' to getting gigs there and/or meet other artists. I don't think we can make much more than that out of the gate without skils and such which we need lots of $$$ to get to.
BTW I'm on a date with Kelly, he's a real big spender... invited me to this real purty Truck Stop
Speaking of not having a dollar... I booked us a free jam time on the 23rd so we can make some people's ears bleed and get our mother's to stop telling us we need to jam. Obviously the free spaces take a while to get a booking in so that's why I had to go all the way out to the 23rd. I feel bad for anyone within earshot.
'Kay I'll be hanging out in Central Park but not online for a while; come by and talk to me, tell me jokes, etc so we can keep buildin our realtionship factors and make momma proud
