I got a guy that will apprentice me for basic singing and Lead Vocals when we get to be good enough friends for me to be able to ask him to apprentice me. Maybe I can pass it back along to you guys then.

Also was thinking we should put together our salaries next Friday and but a skill book or two and we can all read them and sell 'em back and redistribute the money; we've got a lot of people so togehter we should be able to get something good and then we'll all benefit! Man Friday is a lonnnng way off though *getting impatient* :-p

Well, you all need instruments 8-) We also need the skills to play 'em and to perform punk... but as for instruments can't you get some guy to buy them for you? :-D

Oh yeah... forgot about that. Can't blame them though; not sure why I'm hanging out with such a ragged mob of punks anyhow.

Game hint: your momma can teach you skills too! Set your 'Career Mission' to 'Learn From Master/Mistress' and Mother will fill in and teach you stuff it says. I saw someone whose momma taught them basic showmanship which would be cool. So if you're not writing songs we should set that option up and see if we can't get some skeelz.

It doesn't help to set it to 'Improve Skills' if you have no skills to improve; it's like setting it to compose songs when you don't have a song you are currently working on

By the way if anyone who hasn't joined yet wants to play you really should play a female character if ya gots the guts to do it :-p It would be helpful to the overall mission :-D

Anyone know how "creating songs" works? I've started my own song and it tells me to click the bars to improve that part, but it doesn't really do much other than say I'm working on that aspect. Does it progress in real-time(that would be cool)?

I also feel we will never have a triumphant music video until we get Eddie Van Halen to play with us. [/Bill and Ted]
We need bagpipes! It could be like the Dropkick Murphys.

'busking' is playing on the streets; it's one of the free time options I think.

Figures some things out today: No point in signing or telling jokes until you have enough singing or joke telling skill because it ends up beign a negative for realtionships instead of a positive! I think the same thing goes for dates that you can't pay for. So yes anything involving public humiliation? Bad. 8-)

Someone also told me we get to choose a skill when we finish 16 mom's nags. And dammit I'm at 15!! Argh!!

I won't be around until late today but will hang in the park so y'all can still worship me, 'cause I know you do. :-p

Did our roles get switched around? I could sworn I was bass guitar, now I'm drumming. :-?

I was like $200 away from buying a bass guitar too. :headache:

There's nothing wrong with that.

I think we should borrow some songs from other bands for our repetoire before tomorrow.

2 songs isn't enough.

I have one finished, I didn't write any lyrics to it though, and its really nothing special rank-wise.

Done. I don't think actual written lyrics count for anything though.

Okay, I'm working on a new song right now, a song which is going to be a little longer than "A long time ago".
