Going into the off-season

Post by Canonico25 »

It's getting close to February and I thought of a few questions for people who may have actually completed a season:
A) Will I be prompted regarding pending UFA's/RFA's from my team?
B) Trade deadline, when is it/ will I be prompted or notified when it is?
C) Draft, will I be told when the draft is? Or how to participate.

Thanks guys!

A: Yep, you'll be reminded multiple times during the final season. 1 year, 6 months, 3 months, 1 month, 1 week?
B: Depends on the league you're playing in. If you go to the league in question>information>Rules there should be a view button where you can choose ''rules'' (pre-season start/end, free agency start/end, deadlines etc.) Like with the free agency and draft, you'll be prompted multiple times when it will end/start, including on the day it happens.
C: One week before the draft you'll get an inbox item about the draft being a week away, before the draft you'll also get a draft report about your team and what your staff thinks you should focus on. Finally on the draft day you won't be able to continue and you'll get a message where you can enter the draft.

Also, welcome to EHM!

I might add, regarding the draft: if you're on vacation at the time, someone else in your staff will handle the draft instead. So be sure to stop simulating when the time draws near. I usually come back from vacation at around 12-14th of June. (I believe the draft is June 20-22 or something like that.)
