Swiss League Promotion

Post by deknegt »

I was wondering if there's an actual promotion/relegation system in place in EHM:EA?

I have just played my first season with Langnau (National league B), and whilst I ended up missing out on promotion, the team that won the playoffs didn't end up in the National League A, nor did the worst team of the A end up in the NLB.

So I am wondering if there's any promotion/relegation in place at all? If there isn't that'd be pretty dissapointing and it really derails this save.

Official rules state
The winners of this league each season play a best-of-seven series against the bottom team of National League A and, if they win, are promoted, while the National League A team is relegated to National League B.

I believe it's the same in the game (otherwise it really is a problem) and that you just missed it (NLA team probably won the playout).

You're right, the NLA team swept the playout 4-0...
Thank god, my save is still on :D
