EHM 2007 Updater application error

Post by bender »

Hello everyone,
I am getting an error when i try to open up the EHM 2007 Updater. The error says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b) and then will close after you click OK. Has anyone ever gotten an error like this before? I had no problem with the program when i used i about 3/4 year ago.

Have you extracted the dll files included with the Updater? Make sure you use the ones included with the zip file (i.e. do not use the ones included with an older version of the Updater).

Also, make sure you have the latest version of the .NET Framework installed (this is probably already present on your system thanks to Windows Updates) and the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable installed.

I would hazard a guess that the most likely cause is using the wrong/old dll files or not having the 2013 Redistributable installed: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=40784
