AFAIK the link on this website and the Steam workshop are the exact same rosters.....and the rosters are the same as they've been since released November 1st
AFAIK there was never an "extra KHL team" that had to be fixed (or anything that had to be fixed before the rosters were useable).....I'm sorry, but I don't know why you and a few others have had issues, but many many users have been using the 8.0a rosters since the beginning of November
Crossey147 wrote:Ok I have the editor and I open the club.dat file with it, but it won't let me delete a the Atlant Moscow Oblast team???
There's an automatic updater that configures things for the 2015-16 season.
You can look at the import_config file to see a few more details (but things like number of teams/what teams are in the KHL happens automatically)
Ultimately it's really hard to know what to suggest, as for almost all users this problem hasn't been encountered...
So my new theory is, I only really care about the Flyers being up to date, so it may be much easier to go back and use 7.4c and then just adapt the details of players to reflect trades and drafts, that should be much easier right......
Ok so I open up the editor, I open the club.dat file from the folder for TBL rosters 7.4c, when everything loads I then remove Carlo Colaiacavo's details from being affiliated with the the Philadelphia Flyers and make him a free agent. I save it and it resaves all the .dat files. Then i use those files to import as a new database, start a new game and low and behold he is still on the team. What am I doing wrong, it seems no matter what I edit, nothing actually takes and saves. If only this were as easy as the FM editor lol. Help Please :):)
Fixed the KHL thing by loading the database into the Pre-Game editor and clicking on either "update club database" or "check for errors"--not sure which one did it, but whichever one it was the database is loading in now, albeit very very slowly. Hopefully no more errors.
EDIT: No ratings in player histories now though. Stats are all there, just no AVR column at the far right.

There are no Avr Ratings for pre-existing stats. It's only for stats for games played in EHM.
You might find it easier to download the database via the Steam Workshop as it is pre-compiled for you.
Hi ! Do you know if there is a way to edit the colors and then import it in some way to the updated database ? That is because I spent a lot of time editing team and championship colors in the previous 8.1 and I have to do it all over again now.
Or, if you are interested, I could share my edits with you so that it can be included in future versions ? No idea how it can be done though, I'm doing it using the Pre-game editor but I don't know where the edited colors go when I save it.
I think it's possible. When I tried to play with 1979 db, without recalculating runtime data (after changing start year from 2006 to 1979) there where no players in NHL clubs, after clicking on that option everything worked fine
Andrew55 wrote:Is there any problem if I don't click "recalculate runtime data" when importing the DB? Stamkos is a RFA if I click it but he's a UFA if I don't.
I was wondering the same thing. Will it ruin the rosters if we don't click because when I do, it changes Stamkos from UFA to RFA. Thanks
Not sure if this is a known bug that's been carried through the past TBL Rosters versions but using the latest v9.0, when choosing View -> League Dates under the information tab of all and any International competitions make the game crash.

What Editor are you using?
If it's Archi's EHM1 Editor, then he released a new version yesterday to address an issue that caused a crash when starting a new game http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... &start=400
Don't know if it's the right thread, but you could say it's a "malfunction" if the Isles trade for Kuemper, give away two draft picks and the rights to Ilya Sorokin, only to release their newst goalie to free agency within a few days. Never seen something like that before using the newest rosters.

I don't think it's the right thread (I'd think the Feedback on the Simulation thread probably would be http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... &start=525). Given Sorokin's a late 3rd round pick that's signed in Russia until at least 2018-19 (and may never come to North America), it sounds like the Islanders tried to trade some draft picks (you didn't note what picks) for an opportunity to sign Kuemper, but it didn't work out...
