Game crashes whenever I press continue.

I bought the game a couple of days ago, however i haven't been able to play it as it stops responding once i hit continue (it simulates a couple of things, but once it hits evening it stops respoding). I've tried re-installing the game, as well as creating a new game, but have had no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it happens on a specific date, you might try going on vacation to get past it.

I just tried it and i still can't simulate past the first evening, as that is when it freezes. I tried making a new game with a different start date, but I still cannot get past the first evening.

Hmmm...are you pushing Continue more than once? Does it crash right away?
I remember reading of other users have had crashes before because of multiple clicks on Continue...
A lot happens the first day/overnight, so it might take some time...

Yeah, and sometimes you get a "Not Responding" on the top, as if the game had crashed, when it is in fact still simulating, and will respond when it's done. Not saying this is what you're experiencing, but just throwing it out there in case it is.

Thanks for your help, guys! I simulated the first day and left my computer alone for a while (20-30 min), when I came back the day had simulated. The other days after that have gone smoothly. I realize this was pretty dumb, but thanks a lot for your help!
