Some Polish facepacks

Post by Qwas »

I bought EHM07 yesterday and must admit that it`s great game. So, I have some experience with graphic additions for FM05.06 and 07 (I made many facepacks, my own logo style as well as kits) and I will try to make some additions for EHM07 too.

I try to make facepacks for Polish players - I know that maybe it will sound funny cos Polish hockey is rubbish but we have some good players. I will try to make these faces in action style (using your template but I gues that will not find quality pictures for many our players).

My first faces for EHM:

Looking real good man. I am not a fan of "action"-shots though, I prefer "mugshots" so you can see more clearly how they look.

I guess it goes without saying that since I created the TBL 07 template I actually prefer to have both; though I'd rather have the larger action shot so I know how they look on the ice and then the smaller 'mugsot' inset so I can see what they'd look like on the street. To be perfectly honest? Hockey players ain't the best lookin group of gents so I really don't feel a need to have a picture any larger than the dual pic look. There's always been a card-look versus plain debate but I thought that maybe the face pic vs action pic debate would be addressed by the new card format; apparently not :dunno:

So on the debate rages... but:

Nobody should feel they are forced to use one format or the other to be hosted at TBL; and in any case I'd prefer people respect the individual decisions of the authors and not post "Nice, but pointless to me since I only use mugshots" on every card-based thread and "Nice, but I won't use them since they aren't card format" on mugshot based threads. Okay?

Minstrel: On the other hand, the author gets more credit if someone who don't like it praise it...? ;)

tbh. when I saw these action facepacks then I "loved" them. Really nice stuff. I will add some other Polish players really soon.
