Since some of you havent figured this out

Right click EHM in steam - Properties - Updates - Automatic updates - "Always keep this game up to date" > "Only update this game when I launch it".

Now you will get a prompt to update the game if there's an update or start it with the version it currently is

Yeah. I almost can't enjoy EHM the same with out it. I thought I had changed my settings to stop auto update but I guess they reset when the steam app updated.

Dude, so does EHM assistant become unusable every update? New user of the program, can't enjoy EHM either. The new 1998 rosters are fun though.

Not saying the EHM boys should, but over at the Total War Center, the creators of Total War let a few select modders go ahead and make changes to their mod/program before the updates released to ensure their stuff ain't broken. Just a thought though.

Not saying the EHM boys should, but over at the Total War Center, the creators of Total War let a few select modders go ahead and make changes to their mod/program before the updates released to ensure their stuff ain't broken. Just a thought though.

EHM is essentially one guy in his spare time
If you want to compare Total War and an SI game, I suggest comparing it to FM

And nothing is "broken"
It's just a new version, thus an update's needed
And Garfild's a regular user like you or me, and volunteers his time
Maybe people could just be more patient/understanding...

I thought it was just my computer so rebooted and such but the same error pops up. No biggie, not the end of the world, but just wanted to share my error and see if there was a fix I missed or if it's just to wait for an update.

That issue is because EHM updated to 1.2.1. We're all waiting for the update of EHM Assist.

Yeah man just saying. Kinda new to the community so I don't really know who's staff or not, don't really know how many guys EHM has. Not really trying to offend anybody.
