Greetings!
The following data is compiled using TBL 8.2 at startup (using the EHM Assistant to export the data from a newly created game).
I'm looking at most Attributes now to try and provide more of a complete picture of the player & I'm looking at more refined CA levels too. Also, I'm ignoring the Faceoffs Attribute for now, allowing me to combine center/winger data for easier presentation

When looking at this data what "jumps out" at me is.....
a database issue I think...those D with a CA of 100+ seem to me to have IMO to high an average Offensive Role (I think the average should be reduced by 1 or 2) it looks to me like Strength connects to much to CA and not enough to player size (seems it should probably be 1 or 2 higher on average); if Strength has been connected significantly to CA I recommend that be changed, and Strength should again connect primarily to size (with training able to increase Strength somewhat, as strength training is common in the early years of pro development) Fighting seems to low IMO...most defensive defensemen can "handle themselves" and are pretty tough, yet the average Fighting ratings for players with a 100+ CA are 6.5 and 7.4 it seems Stamina and Natural Fitness now connect to CA growth too, and I think the results are less than ideal (the 70-99 CA group has around 10 for both Stamina and Natural Fitness, which seems much to low...the 100-139 CA group average12.5 for Stamina and 12.4 for Natural Fitness); it seems to me that both Stamina and Natural Fitness should start a little higher and be a little higher in every CA range EDIT (August 7th) - the fact that there are no Good/Top defensive D and so few Average defensive D is a problem IMO....I think there should probably be hundreds of defensive D with a CA I n the 140-170 range

I'm trying to get more of the data compiled/posted, and so I'm not reviewing things as much/commenting as much (though I hope to come back and take a closer look, and I hope others will take a close look/comment too ).....one thing I did notice with d_def_finesse that I think is likely a database issue is the CA range of 100-139 seems to have to low a Defensive Role average IMO

A couple things caught my attention...
there are 5,333 physical defensive defensemen! compared to 217 finesse defensive defensemen, and 2,193 "regular" defensive defensemen (and 3,236 standard defensemen and 340 playmaker defensemen) database issue...IMO some of the physical defensive defensemen in the 140-159 might have to high an Offensive Role and/or be the wrong Player Role

What stood out to be while compiling the data...
I'm surprised Aggression is not an Essential Attribute, and Temperament seems much to high I think Slapshot should be Regular and not Non-Essential database issue....Niklas Kronwall (158 CA) seems very "off" IMO - a 15 for Offensive Role and 14 for Flair (IMO about double what it should be in both cases) and a Rugged Player Role (for a guy averaging 0.62 PIM per game and 0 fights in 738 NHL games) but a 19 in Temperament

I don't understand why Deflections is Essential for a defensemen, and think there are a number of better options IMO Positioning and Checking should be Regular and not Non-Essential Again Natural Fitness stands out as low Temperament seems high to me for those with a CA of 100 and less (for a "Physical" player)

IMO Checking should maybe be Regular (for any defensemen, Positioning/Checking should probably never be Non-Essential) It seems odd to me that Passing is a Key Attribute (especially with Passing Tendency an Irrelevant Attribute)

Again it seems odd to me that Passing is a Key Attribute with Passing Tendency an Irrelevant Attribute

Along with it seeming odd to me that Passing is a Key Attribute with Passing Tendency an Irrelevant Attribute, IMO Pokecheck shouldn't be Irrelevant for any type of defensemen

I'm surprised Aggression is not an Essential Attribute, and Temperament seems much to high I think Slapshot should be Regular and not Non-Essential
D-Rugged now has key attributes: Hitting, Def Role, Aggression (there was a generic issue with all the tendencies not using the role adjustments correctly)
Switched Deking into Non-Essentials instead of Slapshot.

Deflections is not an Essential here, must have been a misprint in a list of key attributes earlier somewhere. Key attributes are only: Vision, Passing, Offensive Role and Pass Tendency.

Just want to say that I am glad to see that DD in v1.3 are recognized for good games. In one game Rasmus Rissanen (with Jokerit) got 9 rating although no points
