Saved game editor for Eastside Hockey Manager Freeware. Features include ceiling fixes, adding in two-way clauses and NTCs, calculating career goalie wins past 2001, updating team leaders, adding Stanley Cup winners, and a couple others!

To use the New Game Utility, start a new game in EHM and save. If you're going to use the Edit Ceilings utility, make sure ceilings have been generated. Make sure you keep the program with all of the text files in the same folder (probably best to keep them in your root EHM folder).
When you start the program, you'll be prompted to select your saved game folder. You'll then have the main menu screen. From here you can select the utility you want to use.
"Edit Ceilings" will work with the Ceiling Fixes text file to set boundaries on players' ceilings. Names in Ceiling Fixes text file will have to identically match what is shown in the players file (this is true for all utilities). There can be no spaces between players and each ceiling line must have 39 digits.
"Two-ways" will work with the Two-way text file to give selected players two-way contracts. It will also set anyone not in the two-way file to having a one way contract so make sure you have everyone in the file when using it.
"NTCs" will work with the NTC text file to give a no-trade clause to players listed. Like the Two-ways utility, it will remove any NTCs from players not listed in the file.
"Captains" will work with the Captains text file to set each team's NHL captain. You need to have a player for all 30 teams listed and they must be listed in the alphabetical order that EHM uses.
"POT Boosts" will prompt you to select the roster file you used to create the save file (if you're using mine, it will be "Vik.rst") and will compare each player's potential between the roster file and the players file. If a player has been given a random POT boost (caused by players having a higher OA than POT at the start of the game), it will drop their potential back to what is given in the roster file.
"Team Leaders / Stanley Cups" will work with the Team Leaders text file to update each teams record holders and Stanley Cup victories since 2001. There must be a space between each team and all the record holders for all teams must be listed. At the end of the file is where you'll find the Stanley Cup victories. Each Cup win is marked by year and the team's number ("2002 11" means that Detroit won 2002). A note on using this utility: if you use it more than once, the Stanley Cup wins will be added twice (so Anaheim's Cup wins will be listed as "2007, 2007", etc).
"Goalie Wins" will update all goalies career win totals. This only uses files in the saved game folder.
"Eraser" allows you to remove statistics from the file if you choose. You will be taken to a different menu where you can remove the Team Leaders, Stanley Cup wins, All Time Leaders, Career Highs and Totals for every player, or wipe the career file clean. This utility only uses files from the saved game folder.
"All Time Leaders" works with the All Time text file and if you can't figure out what it does, I pity you. The All Time file should appear exactly as the alltime.ehm file would in the saved game file. The utility essentially just saves you from copying and pasting the file into the folder.
It is very easy to screw up your file if you do any updating to the text files so, if you choose to update them, do be careful about it.

Re: New/Saved Game Utility
I'm having trouble getting the Goalie Wins option to work. Not sure what's going on, but I keep getting this error:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Input past end of file."
Clicking continue does nothing. Anybody have any ideas?
