Grey'd out players

So in my game there was recently a South Korean player drafted in the first round (2023), so I was looking through the national teams of random countries and I started coming across some pretty good players. The issue is that these players are grey'd out, like they're fillers and not actually players. I was wondering if there is any way to actually get these players in the game. I'll include some pictures of examples.

There's no way of getting them in game
IIRC people said with EHM07 they'd change every day, not sure if that's the case in EHM1

It might help to get fake non-grey players for "non-hockey countries" by selecting "Add Players to National Team Pools" when you start a new game (according to wikipedia Tunisia's only had a hockey team since 2009, played their first game in 2014, and aren't actually part of the IIHF...so I'm not sure if they'd get even get fake non-grey players)

That's what I figured. Oh well, thought it would be cool to get some players from weird countries like that. Thanks

It would be pretty awesome if it was introduced one day, somehow. They allow it in Football Manager and it can actually be quite useful if you need to fill your squad with backup players in non-league. That said, you were only able to sign greyed out players if they were in your own team's squad lists.

If you could come across the type of player leftwing42 has found there and be able to sign them up, it wouldn't be a bad reward for looking. The enjoyment of uncovering a hidden gem like that would be nice!
