Unable to install third party rosters/databases

Unable to install third party rosters/databases
I've only been playing the game for about a month (using a Lenovo Yoga Laptop) and have been able to use both the 2016-2017 TBL Rosters/DB and 1998-1999 Rosters/DB from STEAM. I followed the instruction video on YouTube but I am still unable to select these databases when I start a new game. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not entirely clear - you mention that you have been able to run those two DBs from Steam. So which ones are you unable to select when starting a new game? Or is it a typo in your message above?

Wow, completely forgot to mention I haven't been able to use any other databases (those not on STEAM) such as the 1992-1993 DB or any of the 1970s DBs. Sorry for the confusion!

Did you use the import function to import the non-Steam DBs before trying to start a new game?
