Minstrel Hockey League 2017-18
Welcome to the new season!
I'm looking forward to a good season with high activity from everyone.
This season we have two rookies, Jake with the Pittsburgh Punishers and Sheldon with the Avalonian Mistriders. Welcome to our league!
As there were some strange auto-selections at the draft it is decided that acqusitions won't be limited for the first game week.
Once the players that wasn't selected in the draft has passed waivers, then we'll remove that for the first week as well

It says for "Waiver Order" I'm 13th out of 14 - if I understand correctly, 12 other teams will get first crack before me?
I finished 10th out of 14 teams last year so I'd think I'd be picking 5th not 13th

Waivers don't reset. If you make a claim you move to last spot and it will carry on from other seasonsnino33 wrote:It says for "Waiver Order" I'm 13th out of 14 - if I understand correctly, 12 other teams will get first crack before me?

My goalie situation will be a bumpy ride to say the least.

Re: Minstrel Hockey League 2017-18
I lost game one of the season 3-8-1 but I felt it was close.....the Punishers Price playing for the third time in five days on Sunday turned two category wins into losses for my Canucks, and on two others I was very close (2 less for PIM and 1 less for Hits)
I'm not sure week two will get me a win...if I'd played the Stunts in week one I would have lost 2-9-1

im pretty happy with my team, even with the disappointing capmaign that Burns is having. Especially if Markstrom keeps his starter position.

Re: Minstrel Hockey League 2017-18
It looks like a very flawed deal was agreed upon.
Bobrovsky/Matthews for Jaro Halak and Max Domi.
I would need some very good reasoning to let that one go by

I don't seen any reasoning that could justify this, it's obviously not a deal made in good faith.Manimal wrote:It looks like a very flawed deal was agreed upon.

Bobrovsky alone should get a better a return.

Re: Minstrel Hockey League 2017-18
When I got the trade announcement email I noticed it said "pending review of your League Manager" and I immediately thought/expected the deal wouldn't be approved (I can't see any reason to OK it myself)m0fownz0r wrote:I don't seen any reasoning that could justify this, it's obviously not a deal made in good faith.Manimal wrote:It looks like a very flawed deal was agreed upon.
