Archi: when a jam is planned, your character will automatically move to the studio for the jam. Just be sure he has his instrument with him, so he'll bring it to the jam session.
Just reminding me that I have to go there and buy the Guitar-book when I reached 3*. Funny thing, that was the first shop I went in to, and it was the cheapest (1035), while about 10 or maby 15 of them sold it for 2000(!).
Archi: It looks like the jamming session went well? It said "Finished jamm session" or something so I took off. BTW I now have "Perfect" musical skill
Edit: I just gave you four flowers and you have almost a full staple on love with me I don't know how to say this... but I ... Do not... Love you in that way, I just want to be friends...
Ehum I have a new song, the melody is 98% while the lyrics is at 0%. Is it how compelete it is, or is it how good it is?

First of all I don' have to worry about such things since my character is a girl But I think the guys have taken to rationalizing this kind of 'love' between male players as that kind of close to last call "I love you man!" love or "love ya like a brother" love
As for songs, I'd switch to working on your lyrics now. If you get a 'musical seed' that you apply to your melody side it will lower your completed percentage making spending an update on it more worthwhile but you should always get them to 100% in both before completeing them.
Since there are new players that may have missed it, you can get "musical" or "lyrical" seeds that you use that allow you to work on your songs for longer in one area to make those songs turn out better. The reason why your completion percentages would go down by adding a seed is that the 'container' you are trying to fill up is now larger so you have to pour more into it before it gets to 100% full
Unfortunately I can't check NYC prices unless I'm in New York so go with the dubiously named "asses of fire" I guess lol. It also depends on if you want a regular guitar or one of a fancy color, those ones are usually a couple hundred extra. Make sure you buy the right guitar too! The one in game that is just 'Guitar' is the folskie acoustic one
Calv wrote:Twilight romance in london do fancy meals for $11!, I got 9! Each one gets my mood up 3%, it's an easy way to get your mood up
Box of choccies only gives me 2%
Edit: got my mood upto 100% still got over $600 left as well
Thanks for the tip. I was able to buy 9 and then 3 more. It got me in the green for mood at least. Not 100% but still much better. That's a lot cheaper than all those shopping trips.
All clubs sell food; it's the basic mood booster... but they say that food effects different characters different so buy stuff and chomp on one and see what happens. April get 3 or 4% from chocolates for example. I think every gets something out of 'fancy meals' and chocolates though so they ae a good place to start.
Alex, check out the Knowledge Base link and there is a lot of info on Popo we've compiled there. The best way to learn the game though is to go through your 'Mother's Tasks' as that's what they are designed to do. You eventually learn a few skills from your mom and the otehr come from learning from someone else or buying a skill book and reading it. If you give us your character name the guys can help you out ingame too. Archi's band has openings and they all just started too so look them up, there is a 'conversion sheet' int he Knowledge base with all our ingame names

My name in game is Ludovic Noel and i'm sadly in Paris!
Calv wrote:Heh got my mood up to 100% from food, and now it's down in the red again...
Yeah, mine went back down to 40-50%-ish again too. I guess they're just a temporary mood boost. They should sell vitamins that you can take every day that will help you prevent getting sick and also slightly boost your health.
'Seeds' are gained from different things, they are basically inspiration to write better songs. They are either for Lyrics or Music. You use them and they make your songs better by allowing you to work on them longer as I expalined earlier. You can get them from busking (taking ot the street to play your music), partying, illegal downloading (watch out you don't get busted!) and just day to day life.
If you see a message in your diary that says "I feel inspired" that means you gained a seed, they show up in your items and you should use them right away as their power fades the longer you wait.
Alex We're actually going to be in Paris next week as we have a show there Thursday. I'll try to help you out If you want to move to NYC you could still join Archi's band. Flea moved from Barcelona, it's fairly easy to do but you should save up $700 first so you can get an apartment when you get to NY.
BTW we're testing out the new show system in our show that goes live in about 3 1/2 hours. We'll see how it goes Just to let ya know, instead of going to the show venu for the new system "live view" you go to our shows page and link in from there if you happen to be around. The new system is LIVE so please don't make any "on the fly" changes to our setlist as I set it up to basicly shadow last night's show so we can get a good comparison of the two.
If we do better I'll switch us to the new system for our shows, if we get pounded on I won't switch our shows until they make us
TDG REMINDER: Don't forget to keep at least $80 on you so you can pay for your hotel room...

Look for a job that pays well and you get paid each Friday, also you can 'busk' which is playing music on the street to get money but it will hurt your mood and health so you should rest and/or go to the gym after you've done it a few times.

As a result, it was our worse show As you're the leader of the band, i suggest you send messages to everyone to remember them to buy a ticket, or take their instruments for a jam, etc. Or i'll do it if you want
