Will do ! Found another couple duplicates, one from another OHL team and one from US college. Beyond that my usual thing is tweaks (size, position, birthplace etc) and adding histories if missing, add prospects too to give the teams more depth but that's because I geek right out and follow the OHL draft, LOL

Speaking of OHL, Guelph has a new logo, so hopefully someone with skills will update that, also it appears goalies can be drafted again for the CHL Import draft, I'll have to see if there's some way that restriction can be lifted in game

Players are off on international duty in February for the Olympics in the first season with no NHL break so all the stars are missing games. Do you know how to remove the Olympics from the Editor? I've done it before if you need help.

Oh interesting, honestly I've just been doing quick sims and walking away till they are finished so I didn't even notice that, weird that with 700+ downloads this is the first time someone has brought that up.

I don't want to remove them entirely but I wonder if setting the draw date back four years will fix it. Will test that out.

That is a simple toggle under the CHL Import Draft, I will remove it and see if it works.

Next update for my DB won't be until this weekend. Will get caught up on transactions across the AHL/ECHL as well as touch up all the NHL RFAs, would be nice to have last years stats which might help you determine who is worth keeping around! Also will have the AHL schedule added as well as a bunch of things many folks have been helping me with such as adding 2018 drafted junior players and filling out career histories.

I'm also debating making the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) a playable league, any interest there? Their schedule isn't cross-league like the USPHL so it should be doable.

Sweet ! That's not an area I've dug around in, leery of messing things up ... I can't even find the config like in the old 2007 editor where you can show the changes in draft picks !

Can confirm ! I just pulled up some replacement guys from the AHL, something like 5-7 games affected

Never heard of it, but I say the more the merrier, I like to get out of my comfortable and familiar Canadian junior leagues sometimes and do ones I know nothing about going in ...

Only a few of the top guys, I tend to spend more time there when the mid-term rankings come out. As you can understand I have a lot of work still ahead of me to get ready for this season, let alone the draft classes.

Happy to implement any and all feedback though.

I changed the islanders arena to veterans memorial colliseum and now only 2000-4000 shows up to the homegames despite the average attendace is set as 15000, anyone know why this happens? Has it something to do with the new arena that is scheduled to move to in the db?

If you changed the arena that future arena move will not execute. Did you provide capacity numbers in the arena you created? The NVMC was renamed to NYCB Live, I renamed it in the DB along with minor changes made to capacity as it was made smaller post-renovation.

I did not create a new arena, just changed to the existing veteran memorial colloseum that existed in the db and it has a capacity for 16k something

Which version of my DB are you using? I do not have a NVMC in the database, I see there is a Veterans Memorial Coliseum (Madison, WI) but that has a capacity of 10,231, not sure what you are looking at. Please email me xeck29x @ gmail.com

Yes it should be, I didn't see it impact my testing.

Pushing a new update, looks like I broke a bunch of NCAA future transfers when I updated some team names and forgot to carry them over to the extra_conf.dat, surprised noone brought that up!

Update Includes:
- Carried over changes to multiple NCAA schools to extra_config to fix transfers that were invalidated with my changes
- Updated Hungarian Erste Liga, Slovakian Tipsport Liga, Slovakian Second Division (2. liga) and Polish First League (clubs only)
- Fixed various duplicated players in HockeyAllsvenskan
- Created players and assigned USHL rights for 2018 Phase I and II draft classes (thanks Shanster925!)
- Added HPHL U15
- Updated various teams across Tier 1 Elite League + added U15 division
- Updated club histories for teams in SPHL/LHAH/FHL (thanks ESHMfan01!)
**Note** I am going to stop setting specific NCAA Division for Player History and just put NCAA as the league for easier importing from EliteProspects, and it's more accurate and in-line with other leagues

Well scratch that NCAA career history time-saver, it doesn't tally totals correctly for the current league the player is in...oh well.

It seems as though in the second latest update (7/17) the olympics occur in 2023 (it says the draw for it happens late 2022). Not sure if this has been fixed in the most recent one though.

Ahh, may need to pull the draw date back a year. Haven't done much long-sim testing. If you feel like testing this out for me drop me an email xeck29x @ gmail.

Eck - the Olympics and World Cup work fine in NHL36...I think if you copy the info, dates, draw dates etc from it you can save yourself some time! It took me a while to get it right.
