Simple passes?

Post by MarioSL »

Ehmm ... I'm new in the game and I have some questions.
What's the mean - simple passes and join on run (?) in the individual tactic screen? And what's is "deking"?\

And the most imp-ortant question - where can I find the famous Archibalduk EHM 2005 guide?

Thank you.

Simple passes are passes that aren't fancy or flashy.

Join the rush means to join the offensive push towards the goal.

Deking is faking a shot or misdirection.

I'm not sure where you can get the EHM 2005 guide.

Hope I helped a little.

In my games I make everyone use 'simple passes' except for anyone with a 13 or higher in passing. Riskier passes can be intercepted or otherwise not make their target more often so you need to know that the person you allow to make those passes is good enough to complete them.

Also, no matter how good they are I usually won't let anyone do anything but 'simple passes' on a penalty kill.

I was more of an editor/consultant, some sections I helped write up more than others but most of it was Arch's work. I must admit, it is quite the impressive project.
