Idea ? Project ? EHM in french !

Hello all

I was thinking the other day that a full EHM "mod" that allows the language to be changed to french wouldn't be too hard to do.
To me, it would make the game fun to play and add a relative layer of immersion/Roleplay to it. Plus the potential new players from France or Quebec..

I am wondering if it is worth the relative hassle to translate all english words and sentences that the game uses, since everyone plays EHM in english.
Still, I would be happy to start a translation project for the game, to be featured as a Steam workshop asset or a game update (?).

Who is interested ? Who wants to join ?

I was born in France and french is my main language. Also, I am able to switch between Qc or Fr slangs, since there are many differences between the two languages for hockey.
I would be happy to lead a team for french and Quebec guys for this project, if it ever motivates people !

This would be a great idea, plus a free translation for the game... but as you have just found out SI Games are total idiots! Just like they released the only EHMs with Spanish/Italian or whatever languages it was then blamed 'low sales' for the game struggling to sell... wonder why!

Mince j'allais justement me dire que participer a un tel projet serait super... et j'ai lu le 2eme message

Dommage... et dommage surtout que Risto n'ai plus du tout le temps pour bosser sur ce projet. On aurait pu tenter d'ajouter cela a la (longue) todoliste
On est une petite communauté francophone @ukko, mais elle existe

et oh combien le jeux serais vendeur avec un langage francais ... imaginez ceux qui veule dirigez un club de la NHL au Quebec entre autre

C'est sur que ce serait parfait en français, mais comme je suis bilingue, ça me dérange pas mal moins. La plupart des québécois sont bilingue également, étant une province francophone, dans un pays anglophone haha.

I'm from Quebec, and I got used to play the game in english (I'm at 1500h played on the steam version). French would however be really helpful in scoutings reports, for exemple. The game in itself gave flaws which make it hard to be immersive, but I guess french wouldn't have been a bad thing at all. Can't remember if I played EHM07 in english, or it had a french version...
